@R32gang I had a Code3Performance intake mod which opened the back of the "Y" or "T" splitter (whatever you want to call it) that bolts to the back of the intake. I also had a modified intake in front of it, larger intake, SL filter boxs and green filters. All of that really opened up the intake and helped her not only breath better, but allowed the SC whine to really scream. She sounded like a fully modified and blown Mustang. I speak past tense because unfortunately I traded her in.....

535i and immediately picked up everything BMS had to offer (JB4, intake, exhaust, IC, etc., etc.) It's a nice ride, but man do I miss that AMG.....

The sound of that Sc is INSANE!!! Just sold my M5 but really thinking of getting the SL55. You think the same intake could get the SL55 SC to scream like that? If so I'm SOLD!!! Straight pipes and a screaming SC... Thats the PERFECT car for me!

Copy away! :-) The whine you hear from the SC is because of the 185 pulley kit (runs around 22psi!) and the code 3 intake mod. That combo makes the SC as loud (or louder) than a blown Mustang. I'm a fan...
@andya34 - Push the up button on the steering wheel to scroll through the different displays and info screens. MPH is displayed two clicks up from the initial welcome screen that shows the cars total miles...comes up right after coolant temp.
@ChrisFromCali - The smokes LED S class lights work perfect. Highly recommend them! I also have spare stock set as well as a blacked out stock set if interested. I recently sold the car and have no use for them anymore...
The pulley whine is amazing to hear with that exhaust. Very nice car man, May I copy some that??! (Silver C32 here too)
SC only engages under load when on the gas, like building boost on a turbo. More gas = more glorious SC whine. :-)

Hi! Why doesn't the SC whine until 0:36 ? does it depend from the position of the gas pedal? I mean, SC does not work until you press the gas pedal a little deeper?

Huze5 - I would get around 17mpg in city if driving like a grandma but generally only got 15 city and low 20s on the highway

No body kit on there other than the standard AMG stuff. Added the carbon diffuser and carbon rear spoiler if that's what you mean? MBWorld user JBSPEED has the goods.
What supercharger you was running? Which model? I have a c320 and i want to convert it to a c32
Stock AMG supercharger. Just different pulleys and more boost.

How reliable are these things ? I’m a sophomore in college and am saving up for a car currently, and I really want a amg but scared of the maintenance costs and reliability as I have a Accord right now ;) would it be worth it to get this or spend about the same amount, maybe a couple grand more for an e55 ? Thanks man hope you are enjoying your Z06 now that car is a beast, hope it’s not overheating;)
Getting a used AMG out of warranty is always a gamble. I was lucky and didn't have any issues with mine when it was stock. They are amazing cars but probably not the best choice if you're on a college budget without disposable funds set aside in the event repairs come up. That said, if you can do your own repairs, replacement parts are cheap (relatively) now on these. Once you get one though be forewarned, there is no going back to "boring" cars. ;)
snowmobileracer69 hahaha I totally agree with you on that one, luckily I’m very fortunate to where my parents help me out quite a bit in terms of the financials. However I will have to set aside quite a few bucks for sure for repairs and what not. Not to mention insurance as well !!
@@ordinarygamer1353 apparently w203 engines are bulletproof and have few minor problems or things that can go wrong with them
Just got a C32. I looked at JBSPEED on the forums, he only sells the 2 fin type rear diffuser. I see his rear spoiler, but JBSPEED only has a 2 fin diffuser. Could you tell me where you got yours?

Yes it was. Although it had a pulley swap and open intake which is what made it sound so good/loud. Now if I could get my Z06 to sound as good as this little AMG did... ;-)

Thats just plain not true. S/Cs are belt driven, meaning if the engine is on the S/C is being driven. During ANY load, the S/C is active
it has a magnetically activated supercharger clutch. only enabled under load.
