Happy times! You wouldn't be so happy doing this work digging up huge shale our of clay soil. This is child's play. With shale it's almost impossible to get a nice flat bottom grade because the shale is always in between your grade levels. Lucky for you unlucky for us.
I couldn't swing to the left because of the deck and it doesn't look like it but the ground was wet and muddy. I got the truck stuck a few times. If I backed it up more it would have been behind the machine blocking in my only way of pushing the truck out.
That's a beautiful grading job there. Makes a concrete guy smile when the hole looks that good.
CoastConcreteCorp Thanks!
Nice job, that E50 is a beast
Thanks! Yes the machine does many tasks very well for us!
Looks like you are at the beach!
Love your videos
i have a question. do you get disey when you spin in a excavator the whole day
Haha, no. You never spin in a continuous circle and it doesn't spin that fast.
7 years too late to ask, but wouldn't it be a bit easier/faster to use grading bucket in such soft ground?
this is a simple work , and easier ground
Happy times!

How hard was it to start your own construction business?
Im always finding myself leaning forward in the seat like you do. Gets quite annoying haha.
If you had to guesstimate, how much of your work is stonework per year? 50%?
If by stone work you mean paver walkways, patios, driveways and retaining walls... I'd say 80%
good job!!
Only thing I am digging now is Snow. I loose money every minute I do it too.
Haha, were expecting a good sized storm this weekend
Is that your job if it is it's sick
is there a reason you are swinging 3/4 of a turn for every bucket load? couldnt you get the truck closer to the digging area?

Bud..?? Closer to the hole?? Lol
swing the other way you save some time
Do you not see the deck, grill , railing?
sand sand sand and then some sand u dont got any rock or dirt in the ground over there? sand in 90% of ur movies?
