    That conduit looks like electrical plastic conduit. You can get a premade elbow that should work well for the bend on the keel guards.

    • @SamkoTradBow
      @SamkoTradBow  ปีที่แล้ว

      You are 100% on both points. I already have the pre bent elbows in my shop tonuse when I get around to redoing them

    you can cut a piece of a 5 gallon bucket at mold that for your keel guards too. It shapes pretty well if you get it good and hot.

      That's a great idea. I have melted 5 gallon buckets to pack 4 wheeler fenders before too. Love 5 gallon buckets for plastic work!

      That's what I did. I melted HPDE plastic and built up the keel and bow with extra plastic. I never try standing on this. I can't imagine bow hunting standing on this, get ready for a bath

    I looked at those after this video I liked them but I ended up going with the pelican premium catch 100, I found it to be a little more stable. And the ascend here was a bit more for the 10footer. But those Ascends were sweet.

    if you were to shoot a deer or pig where would you put it for the row back to the car?

    • @SamkoTradBow
      @SamkoTradBow  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes. Have done that with quite a few big bucks in my little canoe. But I always bone the deer or pigs out before putting them in the boat. I can't see any advantage to fight to load and unload the animal in and out of a boat or fight for space in there with the animal. So much easier to bone animal in the field and throw a couple game bags in thw boat.
