- Hey guys so today I wanted to show you how to uncap your fps from 60 permanently in Multiversus in season 1. I'm not sure if this is allowed or not in multiversus, so DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. They may patch this fix, in the future so enjoy the fixed uncapped framerate while you can. I'll continue to post updates on this topic as I have no interest in playing this game at the capped 60 FPS.

HERE IS THE CODE TO FIX FPS (FRAME RATE) :

bSmoothFrameRate=False
FixedFrameRate=DesiredFPS(replace this FPS limit you want)
bUseFixedFrameRate=True
[SystemSettings]
rhi.SyncSlackMS=0 (not needed, optimization)
rhi.SyncInterval=0 (not needed, optimization)
bSmoothFrameRate=False
FixedFrameRate=DesiredFPS(replace this with FPS limit you want)
bUseFixedFrameRate=False
THIS IS A PERMANENT FIX, you shouldn't need to do anything else. If its not working its most likely because you've messed with some files in the past.
Step 1: uninstall the game.
Step 2: Delete your MULTIVERSUS FOLDER in localappdata (the one in the video)
Step 3: RE-install the game
Step 4: Do exactly what I did in the video again, and it should work 100%

I fixed it. Downloaded the files on nexus mod and it worked
so when i log in the game I have 144 fps, however when I get into an actual match I'm found stuck in 60 fps, how do i fix this
I have this issue as well
Maybe cuz the game doesn't load much when you start the game, but when you start a match it has to load all the files and scripts it has and has to connect to other players aswell.

If this solution doesn't work you can go ahead and use this=
Windows+R search for %localappdata%
Multiversus-> saved -> Config -> WindowsClient
There you will see a file called Input,
Open the file called input with notepad
Add these 2 commands on the bottom=
bAltEnterTogglesFullscreen=True
bF11TogglesFullscreen=True
Then rightclick the file and remove read only.
This will allow you to use f11 again ingame..
Now u go into GameUsersettings in the same folder and change the
FrameRateLimit=(intowhatfpsyouwant) example=
FrameRateLimit=200.000000
Then go into Multiversus and everygame when you start the game you have to press f11 twice when you
Press f11 twice you will get the Fps that you entered..
but you need to do it every single game to get the fps :)
I did this but the fullscreen thing doesn't work

@@Hid4y4h when you do the input thing do you have read only on or off ? same thing with gameusersettings do you have read only on or off?
Pro tip for anybody having issues, at the very beginning of the code or [/Script/Engine.Engine] , it isn't noticeable on notepad but there is a possibility for there to be a hidden space right before. Delete the space right before [/Script/Engine.Engine] and you should be good to go!
I will say though for anybody that does have it working, who else is having a slow effect issue? I believe this is caused by lag or somethin but if anyone has any ideas to fix it let me know
Yeah the Slow Mo that happens sometimes is annoying for me and my friend, happens on specific maps it seems
@@weebmutt3839 sorry i should’ve added this butt turning off vsync helped that lag a lot, check and see if that helps
@@thatdude7896 i don't even play this game, but you guys need to understand, V-Sync is a frame limiter but worse. It stops screen tearing at the cost input lag, and unlike a frame limiter, it's very restrictive and it will cause even more lag when it doesn't hit the frame limit so if you drop frames it will knock you to the next v-sync fps limit below it. This means you can go from 120fps to 60fps in a second, and it will look bad and probably stutter when it happens.
Just use Rivatuner to limit the frame cap yourself to something reasonable like 144 or 360 or whatever your refresh is and youll get better results. Rendering too many frames fucks with the CPU and you will get slowdowns. For example, if I don't limit my framerate to 120 fps in GTA V, I will start getting horrible stuttering even if I'm hitting 150 fps, it messes with the cpu's timing so it has to slow down and speed up to correct itself.

i have to change graphics settings whenever i start up a lab or local match for the FPS to uncap. There's no way to get into the options menu online so i'm locked to 60fps there

Do you know the 'code' to have it fullscreen 1920x1080? I really don't mind the 1600x900, I'll be using it over 60 fps. It'd be nice though, sounds like a simple line of code to add that I do not have the knowledge to do.

Logged in to say its working with files off Nexus Mods. Something is wrong in the description that it isn't working properly, but Nexus mod files work.

Game just locks back to 60 whenever you get on the server? Seems kinda useless if you can only use it in the lab

I recommend uninstalling the game, and deleting the localappdata multiversus folder if it doesn't work. Then reinstall and try it again. good luck

I fixed it!!! went to GameUserSettings and switched bUseVSync from false to true and FrameRateLimit to 165
when youre in game you may need to switch to windowed then back to fullscreen
Imagine actually falling for the placebo effect that you genuinely believe your eyes are capable of picking up to extra frames XD
Played on 60fps locked and 120fps locked on a different game, couldn't even tell the difference. Anyone convincing themselves they can is falling for really good marketing tactics that are taking advantage of a PLACEBO effect in order to sell more expensive monitors.

Not true humans can tell the difference but Doesn’t multiversus play 60 frames no matter what? That’s why framedata is a thing in fighting games
Guys, you dont need to do all this copy and pasting shenanigans. Theres actually an easier solution. instead of "Engine.ini" your going open and edit "GameUserSettings.ini"
Look for "BlueDynamicResolution" make sure its set to False (just type it in as =False)
next
Look for "FrameRateLimit=0.000..." Change this to your desired frame rate cap, in my case its 240 so I just put 240. File>Save
go to the in-game settings and turn on your on-screen frames per second . Its still going to be running at 60fps,
all you have to do is turn off V-Sync, and BOOM it should be running at 240 fps (or whatever you set it to) for the entire game, outside of the lab

@@scuprial8842 you have to do alt + enter twice once you get / before you get into a game.
@@scuprial8842 it seems to be very sporadic now. if you just leave the settings as is after this method youll find sometimes its your mauyally set fps and sometimes its 60.
