This was such a great interview. He genuinely seems curious, doesn’t really ask the generic questions and was so respectful.
9:12 DK being so proud that he knew that brainstorm is the right word in that context... meanwhile carats are proud that he learnt what the word meant after that one going seventeen episode where he and his team were trolled for using it without knowing the meaning

i always end up loving the interviews u have with different kpop artists (especially since many american interviews arent always that great) but u ask such meaningful questions and engage with them in a friendly, open way~ loved watching this interview!!! btw your nails look so good! i had to rewind a few times cuz i got distracted by them 😅😂

a good thing about svts fans is we get the msgs thru songs straight from our idols, they have a independence zone to share their storys, feelings with us, instead of some hired lyricists/producers, giving a paper full of lyrics, written after their own experience with exgf, or watever.
ty fr sharing the raw msgs with us & having a courage to start the "self producing idol grp" line up in kpop.
Without a doubt you really do some of the best interviews, you give them different question to what they always receive and you genuinely show interest in what they have to say. 🙇🏻♀️

I expected scoups and woozi to tell the story of their first meeting with hoshi, lol that was so funny.
Can you tell it to me?
@@fasihairfan876 woozi and scoups were trainees even before the other svt members auditioned. A pledis staff saw hoshi in a dance competition, then later he saw hoshi on a subway, he approached hoshi and asked to audition fr pledis,but he refused, so the staff offered a free ice cream 😭 for him & he agreed.
When hoshi attended audition, the senior trainees,woozi & scoups peeked into the room & watched hoshi, they were amused by hoshi's dancing skills. They were appreciating hoshi, then the next second, hoshi took the confetti's from his pocket and spattered to have a dramatic celebration, which made everyone to laugh in that room, even the member's watching the audition secretly laughed, they teased hoshi with that for a long time, hoshi was never normal.

Your Choice is the start of the project Power Of Love. So there will be more songs or albums to come out this year that based on the power of love.

I think you did great in interviewing them! it's nice how you asked about their involvement w their music & everything & even asked about how their relationships & how do they, as a group, work. the entire vibe feels v calm & friendly too, so thanks for that! I liked how you appreciated & asked about their other songs as well: *Home;Run and Left & Right.* tbh the only complaint(?) I'd have is how I would've loved it to be longer & for you all to talk more & if it's possible kinda expand more on those topics(?), ask stuff about their stories & stuff like that ig (idk if this makes sense tbh ._.)
I rly wanted seventeen to explain more about how they're self-produced (writing lyrics, composing/producing music, making choreos, etc.) & how they almost have a hand in everything that they do (the song/album's concept, their costume choices for performances/concerts, ideas for their reality/entertainment shows, etc.), stuff like that ig? but this is fine, this interview is somewhat more focused on *Your Choice* & what's currently going on rn ig. I hope you could interview them again someday in the future maybe zach, thank you again & ilyt 💕

The questions asked by Zach were top tier, but I didn't like the fact that all 13 of them were not equally responding...it was just going back and forth from Joshua to Vernon. I think its maybe an English interview so the others are not as comfortable but still I appreciate equal participation in a group. ( I am not a carat this is just an observation I made)
Yea generally for the English interviews, Joshua and Vernon take the lead, and likewise for Chinese interviews and Jun/The8 taking the lead - but in Korean interviews, the other members jump in much more. It also depends on what kind of question (notice that Woozi did most of the talking for the production questions, because he’s their main producer). There are a few members who are less likely to speak up over the others, and don’t usually jump in to answer things unless one of the other members or the interviewer passes the question to them
I agree that the participation should've been more equal, but notice how Seungkwan answered some of the questions and so did DK, Dino, Woozi and S.COUPS. I think that the questions were translated into their earphones, but those that didn't speak just most likely didn't really have anything to say. Vernon and Joshua are usually really quiet, so English interviews present some opportunities for them to speak out.
