So proud of the matching band from my hometown. I can't count the many years as I was growing up listening to them practice. My house was just blocks away from the campus!💯❤
Killing me softly was nice and drum majors are smooth with it. I think some cymbals were dropped in a toss. Video audio recording probably distorted the true sound. Congrats!🎉 BEHOLD!
@@naomiiii9503 they are but in the past they’ve had some in the front and the rest in the back carrying flags. If you have a dance line it’s odd for them to be stuck in the very back. It adds to the effect when they are right behind the drum majors and the banner and in front of the band….The height of the flags in the rear. This makes them look like they’re on timeout.

I was there last year and NSU was outstanding!!! I had friends at Bandfest yesterday and they say A&T was good. Why do people put down each other bands? This parade is over 100 years old and many years until recently HBCU bands were rarely invited. NSU had the distinct honor to perform in front of the grandstands last year and they had everyone on their feet. People in Cali are still talking about that performance. And they have been to many Rose parades. To my knowledge, NSU is the only HBCU band to get a grandstand performance. Most just march through. Not sure where A&T is in the lineup, but the HBCU family should tune in and support.
I agree with you. The weather wasn't helping, and it wasn't my best work, although I have seen worse days. Hoping someone else uploads a better audio recording. In person to hear this though, it was really great!
