Probably good to print the student pages rather than have to copy them. I like that you have that option. Thank you for such a thorough review and for speaking in a way that was engaging and not monotonous.
Hi Celeste! We are opening a small International Christian school and looking for multi-level curriculum. I love the looks of this curriculum, but do you think it would be too advanced for a lower primary level? We will have lower and upper primary and if we can keep the subjects the same, that's our preference (in a classical style of learning), but we could always add something different for the younger ones if we needed to. Thanks!
Hello, Congratulations on the opening of your school! This curriculum is designed for 3rd-6th graders, but in my opinion, I think it could be adjusted for group work with lower elementary, 1st -2nd grade. Younger student might not be able to fully grasp all of the concepts or complete all of the assignments, but it could serve as a great introduction to Earth & Space science, especially if the instructor is able to supplement with other age appropriate activities- such as puzzles, songs, games- that can help bring the learning to life for the little ones. I pray the Lord blesses the work of hands and that you find the best fit of curriculum for your students. God bless!
Hi Jillian, We did add books from the library as well as some great educational kits the library has that we were able to use for some of the units such as Weather & the Solar System. We used puzzles and stencils from those kits to add in some more hands on opportunities. If your kids like colorful pictures, this might not work, but if you add in other resources, they might enjoy it. Hope you find what works best for your family 😊💕
Hi Summer! Our boys really enjoyed this curriculum (even with its lack of color). The addition of the coloring sheets in every unit provided them opportunity to bring their own “art” to the course. 😊 I also occasionally added in some great, fun learning videos I found on TH-cam to the course, which they enjoyed as well. For kids that love bright, illustrations within the read aloud lesson, this might not be the best fit, but it did work very well for our family. 😊💛🌻
Thanks for sharing! This looks like such a great curriculum. Adding it to my list for my 1st grade next year. Looks like it offers great flexibility.
I have never heard of this curriculum. Thanks for the flip through. God bless 🥰
My pleasure! 😊 God bless you too! 💕

I agree. It is great to have the option to print as well. 🙂
So glad to know the video was helpful 💛
Thank you. Your sister in Christ

I've had my eye on this one for a few years but I worry the lack of color and pictures wouldn't work for my kids. Do you add more books?

Did you or your children find this curriculum boring at all since it lacks color, or many pictures?
