      Deb, so beautiful! Glad you had time off , everyone needs time to refresh body, mind and spirit! Absolutely love the faux stones. Sent one as a gift and they asked me what kind of stone it was, It was one I learned from you, you are a great teacher so thank you. ❤

      I have been watching your videos for some time and they have helped me so much. Now here is my problem, the resin. i really love the look and the shine but I can not get it put on nice to my projects. As my projects continue to improve I end up throwing them out. If I get this figured out I will share some pics. Please, help. I have used a whole bottle of resin and not one finished pair. maybe the name and where you get your resin would help. I know your busy so thank you for your time. friends

      I’ve watched this tutorial several times… I tend to get ahead of myself and get all distracted by the shiny things. So then I just watch it again. I was the poster child for ADHD when I was a child. (Literally.) Wish I still had the hyperactivity part, I’d be skinny! My brain is what keeps whirring 24/7.
      A long tutorial is good for me because it totally occupied my mind and I can focus better. It’s good that Deb has such a soothing voice, and that she’s forgiving of mistakes. She says “that’s okay, you can do it either way.” Calms me right down. I’m making this faux dendritic agate project right now! Thanks, Deb!

    Im so glad your back 🤗! I do understand the need for a break though & you definately need to take 'me' time every now & again. Beautiful as always❤! I do have a question , how do you tell if the piece is cured enough? I made earrings & they were bendable.. i think i bent it to much as it broke, so not sure? Hopefully i make sense lol

    • @clayboutique
      @clayboutique  ปีที่แล้ว

      Properly cured clay should have some bend to it. Under cured clay will be brittle and snap.
      Make sure your oven temperature is accurate, and it’s always best to bake for longer than it says on the packet. I bake for an hour.

    Question; why is translucent always used for alcohol ink? Can you use white; and why not? Trying to understand the difference. Thank you a million!

    • @clayboutique
      @clayboutique  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you!
      Translucent isn’t always used for alcohol ink. Some pieces call for a more translucent look. Adding ink to the translucent clay tints it with the color, but remains translucent. Of course you can mix inks into white, but it will be opaque.
