I watched 3 different videos on this subject, and i finally just did it, took me 2 hours on a public parking lot, :) i have health issues but i did it, thank you for posts like this PS: Be ready to replace hose clamps, if top ones look ok bottom ones mostly gone (2002 Camry)
This is exactly the type of video I’ve been looking for! I’m changing my own also. I do have a couple questions relating to safety also. Is there any way I can message you, Phillip?
Basically, how is the coolant not shooting out with the cap off when the funnel is in and when it comes off so you can put the cap back on? Also, should I preform a radiator flush while my old one is still in? Or when it’s out? The new one in? Or no need to?
nice job...........question just changed the rad. in an 05 solara and used a denzo noticed the fan did not fit perfectly had to use some muscle to get the bolts to line up and then once installed, the tabs on top did not line up as well. there is some stress on them as I had to make it work. don't think the car was hit any thoughts?
Thanks, I used spit to lube the oring on the thermostat and oring bypass but will be using silicone oil when I do mine should that be ok thanks @@FixItPhillip
I bet you bought that denso thats for sale on amazon that is for "tow package" camry/solaras. Ive seen people say they dont fit right while others have said it works. How has it been working for you

@@tiffanyv4205 When the funnel is in and the radiator cap is off, the system is depressurized. It should not shoot up.
Nice and detailed video

It's possible the fan plastic is warped. Shouldn't hurt anything.i think It'll relax over time

Awesome thank you!!!!
I'm looking at radiators for my 2006 Camry. Do I want a internal transmission cooler in my radiator or without what does it matter
The internal trans cooler is needed for Camry's with automatic transmissions
Definitely Not a Michigan car! Good job!
Great video bro how you can I get that on my iPad ?
How much coolant do you have to put back into the radiator cap?
One whole bottle?
@@damianmartin2127yes generally
One and a half in my experience
Just got a quote for $1100 parts and labor(Inc flush/fluid) on a 2004. Is that high or fair?
Thanks, great vid!
That sounds high
You can do the job for less than $200. That’s with the new radiator
Watched another video of a guy doing it the hard way, not the smart way like this guy...😁
My cousin died under one of those hydraulic lifts . Get rid of that thing man .
