I own a classic 350 bs4 2020 i was hearing a squeaking sound from the front as soon as the bike crossed 60kmh it irritated me alot coz the bike is just 2 years old and noises should not come this soon…so i took it to the nearest RE service centre i somehow figured out it is the tank and told the service centre guys its the tank they found the issue the tank of all royal enfields is placed on rubber blocks on the front and it was the rubber and metal of the tank scratching against each other they removed the tank and greased the rubber which helped in stopping the sound completely they charged 450 for removing the tank for me the issue was solved and i was happy.

@@pritishkrohilla7434 bruh they are service centre guys u know them(Butchers)😂🤣🤣 u only go there when u want to get ripped off for me the noise was very irritating it compensated for 450..i live in punjab and there are very less experienced mechanics here and removing tank of bs4 isnt easy peasy for newbie. That’s why i preferred to go there.
Air filter, plug cleaning and fuel additive mixing in to the tank always gives us a new Kick , and addition, gear oil touch to chain, pour 100 ml of engine oil additive, and finally , a bit tight of clutch guarantees a heartful ride 👍

Changing air filter every 5000kms helps
PS: In some areas dust will be low in such cases inspect every 5000kms to avoid unnecessary replacement
Method of air filter inspection:
Place air filter on to sunlight and compare with new air filter
If it is more than 50% clogged visually replace it (dont bother cleaning and ruining your air filter and your health)
Method for Visual estimation:
If light barely passes through the air filter element means 90% clogging
If light passes not as clearly as a new air filter it started clogging up
This estimation is useful and it will give insight when to replace the air filter depending on your driving style and driving conditions
I have a 200 4V bs4, and I normally change the air filter around 5k to 6k km or every 6 to 7 months. Its does really helps and I have noticed differences in the long run drives and over a given time period.
Also change it after rainy seasons.

Air filter is one of the cheapest replacement part that brings drastic change in the bike. Never give second thought on replacing it if in doubt.
TVs service centers do so much golmaal, they plugged out some sensor from the throttle body area and they just sent it back to my neighbours saying it's good. They had starting issues and the , battery, starter and fuelpump were just waiting to go bad. Luckily i found the connection that was plugged out and connected it back and it got fixed. They are hella sketchy

My bike had air filter change @ 7000km as recommended by the tvs service center. It made a difference in riding

That's the problem with service centre guys... They don't tackle the problem nor they explain the problem! I faced issue the idling was so high! It was idling at 2k rpm and sometimes in signals more. All he said was the bike is new it must idle that high only. After 3rd service I listened to my father and gave it to a local mechanic and instantly there was a big difference in power and mileage!
My gixxer 155 Fi has a problem where the engine gets rougher the more i ride it, after riding for 5km on highway it starts being quite vibey as compared to riding it when cold, what should i do?
Nowadays service centers are just finding ways to increase your final bill I guess they also have sales targets

I have honda sp 125. It was creating lot of missing issue while riding. Took it to service centre they changed fuel filter, air filter, spark plug costed around ₹800. But still the problem was same.
Then i myself tried to clean throttle body with throttle body cleaner spray.
And after that no missing was there. Bike is back to normal. Bike is just 10k km driven.

Mine crossed 24k and i have the solution for that stalling issue that is...
1. Changing the air filter
2.In the first start after sometime/morning we have to wait until the RPM to come below 2k, if you do so it won't stall....This thing works me well from a long....if I won't wait for it to come below 2k RPM it will stall if i press clutch
I m from Nepal i have 2004v 2021 bs6 normally i have to change my air filter every servicing 2000 -2500km .it looks so dirty so they recommended or i also wants it to change

Engine stalling issue at lower rpms was mainly for the ecu firmware bugs which was resolved by just flashing/ updating the ecu ...the stalling issue was not for the air filter especially in 160 4v bs6

Not sure why service centre folks wanted to change the fuel pump. A simple OBD scan should point out that the intake air pressure is out of spec and also give out error code for faulty fuel pump.

Bahi I've facing rmp fluctuation issue. Like when closing the throttle rpm suddenly drop below 1k and go up to normal with my rtr1604v changed air filter, spark plug is well !! I've one more speculation that that might be due to clogged injector for that i am going to use liqi moly fuel system cleaner hope that will solve the problem 😌 if not please suggest me what to do

Update yourECU software
Try disconnecting the battery and leaving for an hour. This will flush the electrical system. ECU might relearn and fix your problem

Why they are not checking air filter in service center
They follow the company recommended 12000km replacement interval for air filter.
@@thesportztourer agree, but they can check if air filter should be checked in every service as its condition is dependent on operating environment.
For clearing calibration, it is better to connect the electrical earth of home to the battery negative or body ground and also on the throttle body as well as fuel tank (grounding)
This should remove static electricity and thereby remove any dust that is attached to the throttle body internals
Revving helps the cleaning process faster as well
Post grounding process you will notice much better throttle response and quicker acceleration
I used to do this before and after service
If done before service, oil comes out darker than normal and new oil lasts longer and more cleaner
PS: if you are doing it for the first time do it for 10minutes on each isolated area like fuel tank, throttle body and body ground
If the throttle body clean up can be done during grounding, results can be dramatic

Spark plug - use stock if you have not any problem with it
Cruising speed - 70-80 kmph for effortless cruising and fuel efficiency
