I have a korg pa5x 88keys version. I am more than happy with it. The sound is fantastic, the styles are fantastic, the feel is fantastic , the looks are fantastic. The user variations and possibilities are overwhelming. Thank you for this demonstration its deserves. I use the latest software ,and experience no bugs. Greetings from the Netherlands
Remember this is an arranger keyboard not a workstation. It's intended as a home keyboard for someone who just wants to sit down and play along to an auto accompaniment. If midi sequencing or playing in the band is more your thing then your better off getting a synth like Nautilus or Kross or a stage piano type keyboard if playing in a band is your niche.
I upgraded from a Yamaha Genos to the Korg Pa5x because the Korg has so much more opportunity to edit sounds. The Pa5x is closer to an arranger than the Genos. The Genos has always had the home keyboard image but I have found the Korg more adaptable in sound manipulation. Worksation/arranger now more difficult to define now modern instruments have so much to offer.
This is an arranger workstation keyboard, what you are saying? This is a pro level instrument at the same time it will serve you as a home keyboard, if you have that kind of money. Genos is hardly an arranger workstation where PA5x is quite the opposite. There is no point in comparing PA5x with Nautilus/Kross/kronos/Stage Pianos.
@@judsonchristudas The point of my comment is to help people out who are considering buying a high end keyboard but confused as to what type of keyboard they should buy.
Thank you for the video. Three quick questions! Does the Pa5x also have the great adaptive functions in the microphone input: Automatic EQ Automatic Compressor Automatic De-Esser, like the Pa4x? Does the Pa5x have the geat Song Editor, like the Pa4x or Pa3x? Is it possible to connect the Korg EC5 foot pedal again?
Too many software bugs, you must admit it. I had for about 6-7 months but too many bugs and good for live performance. I bougjt again the pa4x and i'm happy with it😊
I don’t recommend this Keyboard for people using sample loops in drum and percussion because it has an internal midi clock problem with sample loops not syncing properly with other accompaniments. I bought one and I regret. especially I don’t recommend it for Indian, Middle eastern and Persian musicians

Thanks for the demo. Surprised to see you doing Korg demos after all those Yamaha demos over the years. Keep up the good work!
I played with the 3x and now 4x. i watched in anticipation of being blown away. Quite the opposite. This board deserves a quality recording.
Great to see you again Gabe. Glad to see the comparison with Yammie. hope to see more comparison in the future. something to see about. Kujo , Tn😎
Honestly we need to listen to the styles of the Korg Pa5X Oriental version.

Is there any Korg pa5x player willing to give lessons online or in person in California, US
Thank you for the video.

Good, but not honest advertisement. So beware, customers…

Shame the audio is so poor
Exactly. Mono audio from the instrument and heavily compressed...makes your ears ache!
@ painful
The sound or the recording of the demo is a disaster. So bad and this way a bad demo of a great keyboard.
Wow that was cringe
Never seen such a bad promo for a top arranger 😢 , terrible sound
