If a black person ever calls me "dawg" the way Calvin calls Dave, I will know that I have earned his/her respect. I love the on-screen chemistry that these two guys have. Cedric has been my favourite for quite some time. Max has become my next favourite. Even the relationship shown to exist between the characters of Tichina and Beth is superb. As for the other characters, Marcel Spears has some really amazing and hillarious expressions. I loved him from the moment he walked into the Johnsons' house for the first time. There's no way the entire cast couldn't have come together to act in The Neighborhood. It was written in the stars. These guys deserve 10 seasons at least.
@@tbc1444 well, for starters, Niece seems to me as one who can be in for the long haul, but I'm not sure if that's gonna dull Marty's character. I also think we should see Calvin's brother more often. Tracy Morgan is an excellent actor. Keenan Thompson too.
I dunno if people have picked up some really subtle similarities between "The Barbershop" movie franchise and "The Neighborhood" series. Here's what I have found : 1. The barbershop itself. Only this time, Eddie is a customer named Calvin, the latter being the name of Ice Cube's character who was a barber in the movie. 2. The concept of Eddie's chair, which was reserved in the barbershop for him alone, takes the form of Calvin's chair in his living room in the series. 3. The smoker used by Eddie in The Barbershop : Back In Business looks quite similar to the one Calvin has in The Neighborhood. I'm gonna keep updating this, as it's coming to me in bits and pieces.
tht eddie murphy laugh was 🤌
