As a lifelong Bobby Knight fan (The greatest basketball coach of all time)can I say Coach Cignetti is carrying on the tradition of the greatest coaches (see Doc Counsilman) the NCAA has ever seen. Doesn't matter what happens the rest of the year. The future is brighter at IU than ever! True Hoosier born and bred reporting! GO IU!
I still remember the Lee Corso show when he was still coaching Indiana and got whipped by Nebraska 63-7, ranting about a punt being the best play of the game. And this coach husk the corn out of Nebraska. Quite a contrast.
"Google me!"..........uh, yah coach, you tore it up at uh....let's see Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Elon....that's really saying something. Luckily, he proved his success at smaller places could carry over.

Every town in Southern Indiana will build a statue of coach Cignetti.
We will name our sons Curt and our daughters Cignetti.
“Keep your standards high” Nick Saban coaching tree on full effect.
He’s hilarious in a dark humor kind of way. 😁
Put down the crack pipe
you don't know what dark humor means
At this point "Google" should be renamed "Cignetti "
They should definitely kick in some nil money to IU lol
Love this guy!

Lee used to punt on 3rd down and that would be the play of the game on his Sunday show!
@@Jo-oc-0 he sure did, old timer
Build his statue in B-Town now
7:38 Excellent follow up question !
This interview could have gone on for hours.
Also, this dude is a Catholic, how did Notre Dame not know about him?

By the way Coach Cignetti talks and carries himself he grew up playing the game in the 80’s. Tough coaching still works.
Wow
