The training that Job Center staff recieve, quite clearly makes them feel that they must be authoritarian towards the public. This intentionally adds to the feelings of worthlessness that people feel, when having to ask for help from the government, who work for the corporations pulling their strings, while controlling the abundant resources.
This is a great audit. Hopefully it will help to get people to start to stand up and have their voices heard.

Not a very well run job centre. Information on the boards was displayed in a badly organised and haphazard way. A shame they weren’t as vigilant over the security of data as they were on trying to blame PTTP for noticing it!. When we meet Sam we see why. Totally ineffectual. PTTP gave him an easy get out that he didn’t have to comment just listen. But he let the security guard tell him what to do who’d been leaping around like a cat on a hot tin roof desperate to throw PTTP out and finally justify his boring existence!!!

Whilst I acknowledge the seriousness of the issues, I also quite enjoyed the semi passive-aggressive tussle you had with Mr Security who tried, and failed, several times to 'best' you in order to save face but just ended up repeatedly falling off his own ego. :)
Everyone else trying to cover their own arse by attacking the messenger, not fixing the data leaks they created.
It is a sad, sad reflection of the state of care in this country. Or should I say, the absolute lack of care in today's society for anyone with real, urgent need.
I worry about these people you know @PttP.
Jobcentre staff who 'sanction' people for one excuse or another.
I worry about them because I can see parallels with the people who guarded the unfortunate souls captured by Germany and sent to 'the' camps during WWII.
We must remember that every sanction they make is legal, according to their policies,
Similarly, everything the guards did to the Jews, Gypsies, the disabled, homosexuals, political opponents and more, was also perfectly legal.
What worries me about these people, @PttP, is that I believe that despite the passing of time and the inevitable shifting of general community beliefs, these people are made of exactly the same stuff. So long as they can stay within their policy, I believe they would behave in exactly the same manner as the camp guards of eighty years ago.
Thirteen years of Tory mis-rule and look at the state of us all. We all act like we bloody hate each other.
The greatest ever transfer of wealth from us poor people to the wealthiest one percent has just taken place, and it has left us so bewildered, confused, and angry, we are doing government bidding by arguing amongst ourselves when we should be tearing places like this down to the ground and supporting each other to rebuild on that plot something beneficial to the wider community.
After which we could turn our attention to parliament and do the same..

      Kerrist on a bike.
'Living' wage? Not enough to enjoy your life, but just the right amount to keep you alive long enough to suffer it.
That isn't how a living wage is supposed to work. Not unless rents are free, or at least halved from today's rates.
I genuinely pity you young folk who are trying to get on nowadays. The odds have never been so stacked against you succeeding as they are now.
Some are paying half of your earnings on rent. Half! Even an average working couple cannot afford to buy a house.
Something's going to have to break. Soon, too.

How long is it going to take for the people to wake up and release that these man and woman who acts as public servants have not got the right to order another man or woman in the public about.
The public servants don’t tell the public what their allowed to do in the public building/place , and if the public servants do try to order the public about hand the public servant the bill.
Their public servants to serve the public and do their duties responsibility obligations that’s what their paid for, and ascribe to for the benefit of the people in the public.
So let’s get this right people.
Never ask ones public servants what “you” can and cannot do when in the public just do. It ( as long as one dose no harm loss damage injury to another man or woman or property ok
If one had a house maid would you ask to use your camera; cups; look around ones house; would you really and then explain yourself to ones house maid really.
Is this how the people see their public servants as higher than themselves really.
    Come on people wake up

It was bad enough you had to deal with the delinquent security guard and the hysterical desk worker…but Manager Tom, a total disappointment. Tom should have been reminded, he is a Public Servant working in a Public place and therefore, he can be filmed. They ALL need new jobs.

PTTP has the DWP ever been fined by the IOPC for data breach? Have any of your reports been processed by the IOPC and resulted in a fine?
I would say if not it needs to be taken to another level, like taking the IOPC to account. As a tax payer I would like them to do the job correctly or be fired.😵‍💫😎
