Root River Report for September 27th

  • I decided to start making a root river report to help other fisherman with river conditions. I’m going to take a lot of resources and condense that information down to what you need to know. I combine USGS water conditions, weather, Steelhead Facility info and my years of river fishing experience to give you my take on the status of the river. I hope this helps you catch the chinook and coho that run up the river each fall!

      @@jaredcruz4486 There is a minimum length limit of 10inches and a daily bag limit of 5. Those refs include all salmon and trout. You also need a Great Lakes Trout stamp to fish for them, not an inland waters trout stamp.
