So this APM is only for passenger who have already gone through security? So there is no rail connection to first get to the terminals only buses? That's kind of weird. It seems it should be the other way around. An APM would be used a lot more to first get to your terminal before going through security. Interesting. And the terminals seem so far apart.

If you only have carry on luggage, it takes about 10 minutes by DFW airport Skylink train. Stay in the terminal and take the Skylink train from terminal b to d. However, if you have checked luggage, you will have to walk out of the security zone to get your luggage and then take the inter terminal shuttle bus, which may take about 30 to 40 minutes to get from terminal b to d.
