I know this comment might get lost, but I want to share my journey. When I was young, I faced bullying daily at school, and I would cry myself to sleep. I didn’t want to worry my parents, who had their own struggles. By my early teens, I was diagnosed with depression and felt completely lost. I started drinking and smoking as a way to cope, hoping to find happiness. At 15, I experienced my first love, but I lost him too soon to an overdose, which left me feeling even more alone. Just before I turned 17, I reluctantly attended a church event, and despite my doubts about faith, I finally felt the love I had been missing. It was like receiving a warm hug, bringing back the peace and joy I had longed for. I fought hard to get clean, and now, after two years, I’ve embraced Christianity. While I still have my struggles, I’ve found a sense of peace. Remember, it’s important not to seek comfort in harmful habits. Everything will be okay.
