I tried a platform setup in my 4th gen 4Runner. After one trip, I ripped them out. I rather have the headroom.

3rd Gen 4Runner Question: Is the Hele also designed to straddle the rear wheel well, similar to what you illustrated here for the 5th generation year model?

When you remove the middle leg to mount on the wheel well, is the framing/platform level? When you put both platforms in it looks uneven, but the final shot with the pads looks level.

I would like to know if you could adjust the length, as not being a sleeping platform, just a platform. As I have a 5 door Jimny, I want a lightweight platform to fit other accessories.
