Am 44 years from Zambia, this song reminds me of late mum and her late brothers,they used to playing this using record player,right now we are listening to this song in the car with my daughters and grand daughter, my mum died 30years ago

In 1985 in northern Namibia,some PLAN combatants were at our house and they had a tape recorder and this song was repeatedly playing. By then we did not know m 5:11 5:14 much much about the late Brenda Fassie and the Big Dudes band. Then Commander Tshambalala gave us some lectures about Band. This is nice music

This music was everything I had that time,I mean 80s.I live in Zambia,by then there was Capriv strip radio in today's Namibia katimamuliro.My father was always upset with me because I used to steal his 2 band Livingston assembled radio which I carried wherever I went.Now this computer generated music has distorted everything.

Veioi o vício em cocaína e Brenda iria pagar muito caro por isso enquanto percorria os guetos cantando sobre a vida dificultosa dos negros num regime segregacionista, foi a voz dos deserdados e por isso muito querida e poipular. passou por mais de 30 internações em clínicas de reabilitação e, sempre quer saia lançava albuns (uns 15 no total) que eram dos mais vendidos na África do sul.
Morreu jovem, aos 39 anos de idade decorrente de um ataque de asma pós overdose e após vários dioas em comaque lhe causaram danos cerebrais irreversíveis devido a falta de oxigênio.
