Jay RPG could you please do a guide on farming the materials for the end game costume quests? They are used for end game gear too all's I know it says Faraway Forest which you go through the 10th dreamer door after you've done the quest to go through the other 9.
For those that cant identify Leander's Regal outfit for what it is, it was actually Marcassin's outfit from the first Ni No Kuni. It's just one of 4 outfits that were based off the main characters in the first game. It actually is one of the most accurately re-imagined versions of those outfits even if it doesn't look as impressive as some of the others you can get. The other outfits have certain details that are a little off due to the characters having different proportions compared to who originally wore the outfits XD I was happy to see the first game mentioned so much in this one though, since it is in another alternate universe that has nothing to do with the first one (apart from also having a Ding Dong Dell).
The reason the outfits look so different is cause they are all missing something from the original outfits along with the proportion differences. Marcassin's outfit here? It's missing his cloak that goes over his shoulders. That coupled with the fact that Leander is much taller than Marcassin makes it look a little odd. Tani's Harpist costume is all one piece while the original outfit for Ester was a two piece outfit with puffy pants and a belly shirt (the original had a bare stomach area). The Shabby Coat Roland gets is actually more detailed than the original was and is buttoned up completely instead of left open like Swaine kept it. The Wizard's Costume for Evan is pretty much exactly the same as Oliver's outfit, but it is missing the little pouch Oliver wears around his neck. That is just a minor detail though, and i hardly even noticed at first.
"and then theirs this one" Thats a reference to Marcassins outfit to the first game. Seems like everyone's got outfits close to the heroes in the first game, Evan get's Olivers outfit, Tani's is a reference to Esther. Seems like Swaine got the short end though lol EDIT: I just realized Roland's is Swaines
you right....his disgasted marauder coat is a reference to Swaine. Roland and Evan share similities......because Roland use a gun and Evan a magic stick
Actually, now Evan has five outfits and Tani has four. The adventure pack DLC includes two new outfits; the Suitor's Suit (Evan) and the Pretty Dress (Tani), in the tenth dreamer's maze I believe.
Roland's green Shabby Coat is indeed by the Crooked Cavern entrance--just SE of it, inside the same bowl-shaped area as the cavern. (Note that Crookneck Cavern is a different place, which confused me at first.)
Thank you for this! I'd actually accidentally gotten Batu's "wild attire" while I was running around trying to get the higgledy stone trophy and never noticed because I never use him!
@@A_Primal_Aspid i looked in both of the chests on the island where the dragon is but neither of them had Roland's swaine costume Edit: nevermind im blind
Dang, the only one I've had for a while is Roland's Samurai outfit. Seems like you don't really start getting them till a decent ways in. This game is amazing though, means I still have those to look forward to. I'm only in chapter 6 but I already have almost 20 million influence in my kingdom and all research I can do so far done. I've been able to complete every side quest and 1 or two dream doors already. I'm trying to get as much out of this game as possible, games like this don't come along often anymore. lol Expert is the only way to play this game, it's so rewarding. I love games that actually reward your for their difficulty, not that Nino Kuni 2 requires you to be THAT good to play expert considering I've been playing on it since the start but I still feel like the challenges I do face are completely worth it. I've had to drop it to hard once or twice simply because some enemies have attacks that are quite difficult to dodge and do twice as much damage as my characters have HP. lol But then the difference is so vast that I just drop them in seconds when they were one shotting my characters on Expert. So that's kinda an issue, but the story is decent for a fairy tale story and does keep my interest even considering I'm 32 years old and I can tell I'm going to play this game again down the road. I do have one question though, is there a new game plus or harder difficulty that unlocks upon completing Expert?
F***. That means that only Roland gets a costume change early game, everyone else has to wait until I kick Zip's ass or after the story ends. WTF, Level 5? You gave everyone one costume change in Rogue Galaxy before Chapter 7, but you are so damn stingy here! See if I every buy your titles again. X(
*Which alternate outfit is best? and why is it Bracken's Goldpaw Gown?* 😜
Tani's Queen's Dress... The little tomboy becomes a little princess. :D
Jay RPG - Bracken’s Goldpaw one, because she is fuckin’ *_t h i c c._*
It's probably the worst one. Bracken goes from almost actual clothes to a Naruto waifu.

Devon Miller i thought im the only noticed that.

Devon Miller the Oliver outfit is missing both the locket and the wand holster on the side
Ok this game is amazing! Easy but honestly its refreshing since im experiencing a more chill type of walkthrough without habing to grind for days
Rudy Yeye this game or kingdom hearts remix

Sakura and sasuke?
Roland's green jacket is on the island next in the north with the tainted dragon on it.
I recently discovered your channel through your NiNoKuni2 videos and I really enjoy your content ;)

Why do you like Bracken's Goldpaw outfit? The battle tech outfit for her is definitely better!
Yes but how do you actually put the clothes on them?
Thank you for this!
I'd actually accidentally gotten Batu's "wild attire" while I was running around trying to get the higgledy stone trophy and never noticed because I never use him!
Roland’s Swaine outfit can be found near Farflung Cape, far North-East Of Evermore.
@Jay RPG ; you should pin this comment, its right behind the dragon in Farflung Cape
@@A_Primal_Aspid i looked in both of the chests on the island where the dragon is but neither of them had Roland's swaine costume
Edit: nevermind im blind
I want Roland's suit back :/
Gideon McAllistar his pheonix wright outfit
The DLC has his suit
which suit guys
what does it look like
Any idea where Shabby Coat for Roland is? Shown wearing it at 1:38
Edit- near Crooked Cave.
Roland wore the shabby outfit since acquisition and only during post game I realized that it was a reference to Swaine.
KNICKERS, MUN!
Thank you so much. I just got my airship, so i'll try collecting some of these costumes.
how to unlock Roland's tuxedo suit?
I got these the other day and had no idea!!!!! Thanks!!
Can we get a guide including the new dlc outfits? I just got rolands president outfit from killing the winnower... I assume theres others
Only one other outfit for Bracken? Sad days.
3 alternate outfits for Bracken, just like the other characters (except Evan who has 1 more).
Jay RPG Did you show them in the video? I can only find 2.
The 3rd is a post game quest, you need materials from the 10th dreamer maze in faraway forest
My favorite one is the robotic suit
I can’t remember the name
But I really liked the design of it
I guess 1 knight armor outfit was to much to ask...
Thanks Level 5!
I like how there are some outfits from ni no kuni WotWW characters
I know right
Are you changing outfits with the options button?
Bracken is best girl. CHANGE MY MIND
Roland's outfit is on Farflung Cape, thanks for the others.
All the items you need for the outfits are in The Faraway Cave. I know where it is but are they in The Dream Door for the items.
Can anyone tell me how to continue playing after the end game? It doesn't seem to start at the end when I reload the game?
Does anyone have any tips for what the best spells are to level up?
dream Pyre Pillar on Evan has served me well
Do you need an expansion pack for the outfits?
No ☺️
Ty so much for your help.
this might seem like a stupid question but how do i equip bonus outfits lol
Press the option button on DS4
I just realized that I've been calling Leander Leandro.
Roland's is in farflung cape I do believe
Batu’s Wild Attire is the best. Muscle Daddy!!!

i'm still angry that they do not let me wear Roland president outfit
