Matilda Zeigler was brilliant in Mr Bean too, not only as his long suffering "love interest" but as a few other characters too in early episodes, like the Mum with baby in this one. They really do work well together

One brilliant aspect of the whole Mr Bean series is that the lead character barely speaks. THis makes them easy to enjoy not just by the English Speaking audience, but by essentially the whole PLANET.
In one of the the episodes I read a comment that the person would in those days would go to school, play and see Mr.Bean and had no tensions in life. I am Indian and I too would make a similar comment. In 90s few good serials were telecasted here which we all as a family would sit together and enjoy.

I remember watching these sketches on video/DVD all the time back in the 90's, but alot of ppl here are saying they've never seen them before. so i guess maybe you couldn't get these on video or DVD outside the UK before the days of the internet
