Maybe mouse gestures make more sense for those who use the mousepad on laptops....or touch screens

    Joe and guests Hello!
Have you any notion to write AHK that combines voice recognition ( I use DNS) for non keyboard types? This video made a quick mention to medical uses. Just a thought. Thanks NR San Diego

Windows has had this functionality built-in since Vista. I don't remember when they updated it but on windows 10 & 11 you can hit Win+H and it will start for you.
I did use a recent AutoHotkey script which allows you to send what you say to Chat GPT and use their "whisper" model. It's definitely better than the built-in windows version but you'd need the Internet. (I think it both cases your data will become part of their training so, if privacy is a concern, you better learn more.

BTW we do have several Radiologist clients where we've set up their X22 keyboards and built scripts that improve the functionality with their imagery software. :)

Many of our clients use either PowerScribe or Dragon Naturally Speaking Medical.
Normally we let the voice recognition tools do what they do best (interpret voice) and then we use AutoHotkey to act on what they "hear".
With AI tools like Chat GPT Whisper, voice recognition is becoming even easier so there will be new approaches coming in future years.
