People keep forgetting the potara is superior to the dance. Due to the requirement of the power level being equal for the dance making the multiplication less while the potara by passes that law
It not about that, it about more of counter out, if it current vs current, vegito wins, but if it was future arc vs broly movie, gogeta win, it very depends but we can't forget the downside of their fusion

I know that I'm 3 months late to this, but I just want to say that I absolutely love how this fight went. It clearly showed the two were equal in power and the only real difference between them was their time limits. I am a bit disappointed that the fight only ended because one defused due to overwhelming their fusion time with such a massive increase to power. Though my disappointment was surely lessened when we learned Vegito was soon about to defuse for the same reason. What I loved most of this fight was how both had the potential to use the same forms and moves to give us a more entertaining fight. In the end, I'd surely say a draw is the perfect ending to their fight and would love to see a rematch using UI and UE as their next forms instead of Super Saiyan and Blue. I'm glad to have come across this video, and I wish you the best of luck in your future projects
No they are not equal, potara do the multiplication on their powers plus fusing their powers

No one is stronger than the other, they're both fusion of the same duo, only the method being different.
The weekly shonen jump did scale them at equal lvl back in the promotion for dbs broly movie.

1. The old kai only said it'll "WORK" better than the fusion dance not that it's stronger so it's not the same thing.
2. The old kai also said they will be fused forever which has been proven false by them defusing later on.
In super, we did learn the reason for that is because goku and vegeta aren't kai and as such the fusion wasn't permanent like it was supposed to so i'd take what he said with a grain of salt if i were u.

The potara fusion triumphs over the dance in raw power. In DBZ old kai stated that the fusion is more powerful because of the rivalry boost of vegeta and goku.

The major difference is that potara fusion lasts a bit longer than the dance fusion. Other than that, they're both really powerful fusions.
No the dance will not run out until the fusion expires well has regular potaras if they use their God form they'll defuse especially if this after the gas/granolah arc
I would like to say here the Gogeta fusion has a 30 minute time limit.
The Vegito fusion has a 60 minute time limit.
But the diffrence is the time limit for Gogeta does not change if he uses more power.
Meanwhile if Vegito uses to much power his time limit would change.

SSB Vegito 25 min or less
So
SSBE Gogeta 30 min
SSB KK x20 Vegito 5 min or less.

@@MasterTemplar781 Hello, I wanted to tell you that you are wrong, the metamoru fusion if it has energy wear like the potara, the potaras are better said by the old kaioshin of 15 gen ago. An example is Gotenks SS3, it is supposed to last 30 minutes but it says it lasts 5 minutes, so I already denied that. In the saga of Trunks of the future step that Goku and Vegeta did not have perfected the Blue and that generates a great wear of energy so Vegetto Blue would have a lot of wear and the fusion was separated by that, instead in the Broly movie, Gogeta already had the perfect SSJ Blue and that's why it lasted 30 minutes, Vegetto lasts 1 hour and Gogeta 30 min, Vegetto does not reduce his time for each transformation, it makes no sense, besides that Vegetto has the plus of rivalry and makes it stronger than Gogeta. Both are the same person, and Gogeta knows that his counterpart is superior so Vegetto is superior, Vegetto never trusted any combat, as well as Gogeta, since they are the same person.
@@franco88100 Yeah no first of all in Z it was stated that potara is stronger so yeah in DBZ Vegetto would win. But in DBS that was retconned. And btw SSB perfected is still ki draining not as much as unperfected but it is alot more draining then base or SS. So SSB should've still taken some time of that 30 min but it didn't showing that no matter what form Gogeta uses he doesn't have a power limit. It's established in Dragon Ball Z that Potara fusion lasts forever, but this is retconned by Dragon Ball Super which reveals that it actually only lasts for an hour when the earrings are worn by mortals. However, the fusion lasting an hour still sounds a lot better than the time constraints for the Fusion Dance, which only allows Goku and Vegeta to be "Gogeta" for thirty minutes. The up-side to this is that Gogeta can fight with all his power, and even break through to his Super Saiyan Blue form without worrying about consequences. No matter what Gogeta does, the fusion lasts the full thirty minutes, whereas the Potara fusion is rather imperfect. This is surprising, considering that it's a divine technique. As previously noted, the Potara fusion should last an hour, but Dragon Ball Super has proven that this rule has its limitations. Against Zamasu, Vegito accessed the Super Saiyan Blue form and fought for less than fifteen minutes before the fusion subsided. Goku and Vegeta defused after Vegito hit Zamasu with the Final Kamehemeha. Apparently, the amount of energy dispensed by Vegito was too much. Gogeta doesn't have these restrictions and can hit his opponents with the full force of his power, making him the stronger warrior.
It was said in the manga itself "We used to much power that is why we defused." or something similiar to that. If it was talking about Ki drain then they would've said "The ki drain caused us to defuse.". It's very simple when they spell it out for you. Ki drain happens always even when moving in SS3 but you don't use to much power when moving. It had nothing to do with the drain from SSB. And if we talking about the fight shown here with SSBE vs SSBKK x20 then Gogeta would've won bc SSBE far surpasses SSBKK x20. And then KK x20 is already heavly ki drainng so if we are going by ki draining then the second he went SSB KK x20 he would've defused. And using SSB KK x 20 attacks yeah that much power would defuse him too. So Gogeta > Vegito plus why take the word from a kai who is already wrong by saying the fusion lasts forever.

The outcome was expected, since the Potara have a 1 hour time limit, and the dance only has half the time, gogeta would have to manage their power well enough to live through the fight whilst also saving as much time as possible, while vegito doesn't have to worry as much with that problem
Yeah my only gripe is the fact they had vegito use blue kaioken and not instantly defuse
@@SuperBlueGamer9000 well to be fair, Potara doesn't have to worry about power consumption. Or at least they don't have to as much. That's why it's considered superior in general.
I still think vegito wins do to time limits, but using higher forms will cause both to defuse faster so going off the manga vegito blue last 40 minutes do to his power use wouldn't Kaio-ken make it much shorter due to it being a energy multiplier same thing applies to gogeta so wouldn't this fight just end when that or blue evolution was used? just kind curious since to much power breaks potara ear rings, and also undoes fusion?

The fact that vegito didn't even try to use ssjbe with kaiokens means that he knows the fusion will run out fast making him only go ssbkk at max which is surprisingly Kind of smart
What did we learn from this? Gogeta is stronger than Vegito but is hindered by his fusion timer being shorter.
Vegito either stalls the entire timer and holds his own to win or he gets beat up, I have no clue who to deem winner lmao I still think they're both equal in their own

Vegito is actually very slightly stronger due to the fact that goku and vegeta don't need to match energies. Though it could go either way.

Love the vid man, I wonder would you be down on doing a tutorial on how you go on making these? I'm asking cause I'm interested in doing some sprite animation down the line for TH-cam and special projects for school and I would really like how beginner friendly this is.
Look up a few people like james_179 or lucasRPDJ for it. I think the second person is better since it not only helps beginners but also advanced people for it (: (did some research). and gl on doing this btw. If i could send the video title i would but it would go against youtubes system and deleting the comment by default in 30 seconds (note: the video was made over a year ago). search up sprite animation tutorial and youll probably find the person.

That's kinda weird, in DBS Vegito had a time limit and limitation on the energy used, but Gogeta was able to fight with all his strenght for all 30 min he had.
Guess he didnt take that into the account but i agree, i guess he still took some of the old info into consideration, which he shouldnt, Regardless fun animation, should've ended in a draw, or at how it was going , then gogeta winning.

So I guess the comments are going to ignore that it’s canon they are equal in power as long as they are in the same arc, for example, if they used Gogeta against Fused Zamasu, it would equal the power of when they use Vegito against Zamasu, meaning they are literally the same in power, as long as they are in the same arc.
Not necessarily since for Fusion to work you have to be at the same level of power. Since Goku is stronger than Vegeta, Gogeta is basically two Vegetas in one. Where Potara Goku can keep his full power and still fuse making Vegito stronger than Gogeta

When was that a case that gogeta is basically "two vegetas" combined in one in full power when the actually fusion is explained that its both goku and vegeta's power combined and boosted by the fusion.

Oddly you know what can fix the patora fusion, if the angels make a more powerful varient.
In the T.O.P we saw that kaioken and blue evolution are close in their power level so i think Gogeta blue evolution isn't this OVERKILL for Vegito blue kaioken,but animation is good dude i really enjoyed it.Keep doing animations like this ❤

Not at all, vegito just ran out of energy, and the potara has nothing to do with it. The kaioshins just say that goku and vegeta ran out of energy in the anime. But that’s just a deliberate nerf, since in the manga, goku and vegeta needed to master ssb to stay transformed, and that happens in the TOP arc, that’s why they defused in the manga, due to vegito’s stamina being drained by ssb. Obviously, they had to make vegito defuse in the anime as well, which is why he defused in the anime. So he only defused because ssb had a ki consumption issue in the manga, and the anime had to make vegito defuse too, which is why no real explanation was provided in the anime, though vegito did fight zamasu for a long time, not just 5-10 mins, since he was fighting zamasu all the time in the background when trunks was doing stuff
Every guide in existence says the potara fusion is outright superior than the fusion dance, meaning it’s better in every way, obviously meaning the time limit too. And we have already seen kefla not defusing at all after fight at full power for a while, only defusing after being beaten
The fusion dance has a strict time limit that can shrink, the more power the fusion uses, that’s how it’s explained in the manga, anime and guides, the metamoran fusion by itself is what lasts 30 mins, it’s never said that a super saiyan can last 30 mins, and heck ssj3 gotenks lasted 5 mins
So vegito would last the entire hour, but gogeta wouldn’t have a lot of time

@JARMIDz If I'm not wrong, I'm pretty sure Gowasu said in the Anime that Vegito diffused a lot earlier than he was supposed to because he used too much energy. Gogeta doesn't have that problem with Blue or any other transformations that we've seen.
@@JorgeMartinez-dn8ft Yes he does. The fusion dance has the same issue. Gotenks, and even Gogeta in GT had the same problem of defusing early with forms like Super Saiyan 4 and Super Saiyan 3. It's only obvious that Gogeta vs Broly was less than 5 minutes considering how one sided it was.

That's DBZ Vegito, Vegito in DBS isn't overconfident and can get the job done. Gogeta will always be inferior due to the requirements needed to create him. Not even me hating but realistically think abt it through this perspective. You need two people with the exact same power lvl, correct angles and posture and a certain amount of power to withstand Fusion this can be stated with SS4 Gogeta and Gotenks' situation. Meaning defusing here was valid. Soul Punisher doesn't work since you need to be pure of heart and have 5 saiyans join together to make Super Saiyan God meaning Blue would not exist without this. Vegito has literally everything to counter Gogeta meanwhile Gogeta has nothing but just style.

Well so would Gogeta. Don't forget the fusion dance runs out after 30 minutes and in the manga vegito lasted about 40 minutes before his fusion ran out. So if they're going of the manga Vegito has clear time advantage.

Honestly just wish these fights would come down to just the fusions ending the fights instead of time outs. We’re here for the fusions not the defusion. But that’s just my only gripe. Good video regardless.

Something that should be noted is that Vegito doesn’t just have the naturally stronger fusion, but there’s also the rivalry boost to account for. Even assuming base Potara and metamoran are equal, the rival boost is so insane that base Vegito would be putting the hands on a SS3 Gogeta.

For anyone thinking Gogeta should've won, you're poorly mistaken. If you are talking time wise look at the fight with Gotenks with Buu and Gogeta SS4 with Omega. Both defused cause of too much power. That argument can't be used. Same with Soul Punisher because due to the Super Saiyan God ritual it requires 6 Pure Hearted Saiyans to create one Super Saiyan God. Meaning since both Vegito and Gogeta have access to it they are both immune to that idiotic orb.
For Vegito fans actually happy he won, remember the Gogeta fans are right that he should've defused. But Vegito would've won regardless. But they both are useful in their respective rights so just enjoy the animation and quit this controversy. Pretty idiotic when put in a true retrospective.

(No time limit) Gogeta vs Vegito made by me: The fight starts by Gogeta, and Vegito meeting, Vegito ask:"How about we settle this in a deathmatch?" (Gogeta nods his head). Vegito blitzes over to Gogeta with a punch, (Gogeta "dodges"), Gogeta kicks Vegito away, (transforming into Super Saiyan) "Vegito does the same". Now they CLASH! They start off with Gogeta going for a punch, (Vegito blocks), and kicks Gogeta (sends Gogeta flying) Vegito ask: "Is this all you got, it surely shouldn't be, considering they used (YOU!!) to fight Broly! (Gogeta glares menacingly) Gogeta starts putting in more effort, and now their tied.
Vegito says:"Lets kick it up a notch". (Transforms to SSJB), (Gogeta transforms into SSJ4). Gogeta finally speaks: "Damn I haven't used this form since the 2000s", Vegito replies:So now you finally talk. (Gogeta laughs, and makes 5 clones of himself), 2 of them fly towards Vegito, while the other clones were preparing a "Big Bang Kamehameha", they fire, and the 2 clones are rushing towards Vegito, BUT! Vegito uses his ki sword to slice all the clones. From the top the real Gogeta down kicks Vegito,Vegito gets up and (teases Gogeta a bit) "saying that didn't hurt"! Now (Gogeta's pissed), Vegito fires a huge ball of ki towards Gogeta, but Gogeta kick it back, Vegito's laughing at him like: "Dumbass my own attacks can't hurt me" but when the blast hit Vegito (it actually hurt). Vegito ask:HOW! Gogeta says:I put my own energy into your attack "DUMBASS". Vegito still trying to get on Gogeta's nerves says: "Eh I been through worst"! SSJ4 Gogeta's like:...Really?!
(Gogeta transforms into SSJB) Vegito's like:ALRIGHT! (Both Powering up), Gogeta starts by throwing a Stardust Breaker at Vegito (it hits him), Vegito starts fading (just a bit) cause of the (Vegeta side of Vegito), but Vegito will manage. Vegito tries to toy with Gogeta, but he can't (their both the same strength, but Gogeta has more tricks up his sleeve than Vegito). They punch, they kick, they blast each other, all over the place. Vegito says: IT'S TIME TO END THIS! (Vegito charges up a "Final Kamehameha"), (Gogeta charges up a "Big Bang Kamehameha"). The beams fired, and clashed, (Vegito's was pushing Gogeta's blast back), but Gogeta did something (Vegito wasn't expecting). Gogeta cloned himself (10 times), (5 clones took over the Big Bang Kamehameha),the other five rushed to Vegito, Vegito used 1 hand to slice the clones with his ki sword.Then Gogeta charges up a spirit bomb, "Vegito actually gets worried". Gogeta absorbs the spirit bomb, and blitzes toward Vegito, Vegito points his blast up to Gogeta, Gogeta goes through the blast, grabs Vegito, and bashes Vegitos head against a rock. The Winner Is Gogeta
i really like the video and those to remind me on that old game dragon ball z raging blast 1 and 2 if you play theme before back then and i do play those to on the game on the first one because it does have what ifs store all so you can put it in English so i can understand it better the words to fast for me ok 👍 ! and hope you make a part 2
People keep saying gogeta should have won by his arrogance and because of his energy wear but gogeta and vegito are literally the same person its even stated in the dbs broly movie also when vegito defused in goku black saga he didnt master ssjb while gogeta already did in the movie explaining why he lasted more than vegito so in my opinion i think vegito yes should have won also because of the rivarly bonus.
My bad i said gogeta should have won by his arrogance and of his energy wear but i meant people keep saying gogeta should have won because of vegitos's arrogance and energy wear also gogeta didnt play around because he wanted to finish the fight because if he didnt broly's power woud have keep increasing.

Vegito is stronger because vegeta and goku can go full power and fuse, they don’t have to match power levels to fuse and that’s why vegito is stronger
when vegeto was fighting zamasu, he only lasted 10 mins when he was supposed to last for 1 whole hour, while gogeta transforms into super sayan blue to defeat broly and lasts 30 mins,

From the way I see it, their strength and stats are completely equal. Gogeta has a shorter time limit, but Vegito’s Potara drain power faster then Gogeta’s body, meaning that while Vegito normally has a good 30 minute advantage over Gogeta, excessive power usage can cut him down to the same time limit as Gogeta, or maybe even less.
If I need to give them more differences, based off their fights, Gogeta has more destructive power and strength, since his moves caused much more drastic effects against Broly then Vegito’s moves did against Zamasu. Gogeta and Broly were shattering dimensions or reality or something, while Vegito did nothing quite like that against Zamasu. But Vegito has better overall Ki control and the aforementioned longer time limit.
Basically, they’re better suited for different tasks. Gogeta excels when you need something done and it needs to be done fast. Unless he’s goofing off for strategic purposes, he comes in, does his job, and gets out. Short time limit but much more destructive capabilities makes him excel in situations where you need a fight finished ASAP. Vegito is better suited for longer, more drawn out fights. When you just can’t match someone’s power and you need to be able to contend, Vegito’s your guy. Slightly less destructive power then Gogeta, but twice the time limit as long as he properly conserves his Ki.

Also weird, since it was shown that Vegito would defuse after dumping huge amounts of power like what happened when Vegito fought Merged Zamasu, but the same thing couldn't be said when Gogeta fought Broly. Here, we saw Gogeta defusing first due to the time limit, I would reckon that Vegito would've defused first.

the out come should've been for vegito tbh since when he was in ssjb he already would've drained alot of time if he had to use kioken he would last only 3 mins or less, animation is fire the only problem for vegito is the time draining while gogeta can stay in ssjb for 30 mins peacefully and use his power freely like he did with broly
more info in the web just write "who's stronger vegito or gogeta" in terms of power vegito is stronger but he would eventually defuse after 10 min in ssjb just like with zamasu, so the only problem for vegito is his time limit

I am going with the comment that Toriyama said that a longer fight would mean that Vegito would would win but Gogeta would win if it was a quicker fight.
That’s in reference to Fusion Reborn Gogeta and Buu Saga Vegito. Fusion Reborn Goku and Vegeta are way stronger than their Buu Saga counterparts. Goku was able to shake all of Other World which included Grand Supreme Kai’s world, Heaven, and Hell, which is depicted as half the size of Other World in the Daizenshuu. While in the anime, he just shook the Earth.
