We have about four more tentative people joining, kinda depends on their work schedules it seems. But yeah, we are hoping for at least six total, would be a good sized group for a rather small store that has only been open about a month and a half lol.
We're really enjoying battle companies - although first game we forgot you need to take a courage test to charge army of dead and they hit againt courage not defence (oops)

I think this is a great way to get into the game (and also a great way to try different factions, I've an Osgiliath built up and Denizens of Mirkwood just started - think I might go Harad next. It's good to get a bit of a feel for a faction and some of their abilities before jumping in with an army)
Thank you for your question👍The rules for the tabletop game are the same. But there are other rules that are used post game, such as upgrades to warriors, injuries, reinforcements. There is also an option to play a big campaign. And rules for using your battle company in regular games😊
Hey! Thank you for your question😊 I have not found anywhere in the rules that says yes or no on this question. But I think the awnser is no. Because this would be kind of unfair for some of the armies. Like the dead of dunharrow will not get any bonus, and haradrim would reroll 1’s to wound on all models. Also, warg riders are not a faction. So will they go as Isengard or Arnor? I dont know. What do you think about this?😊 would love to hear some arguments.
Each army gets a unique skill when they level up. If you roll something you don't like, then you can take the faction-specific skill instead. Army of the dead can take a skill that allows them to transfix someone on a failed courage check. For future campaigns, I'd suggest checking out the battle companies "community edition". It re-balances a lot of the armies, and adds new ones. Dead of Dunharrow are notoriously overpowered in the original Battle Companies bookthis. You get four defense 8 guys who hit the enemy toughness, cause terror, and can recruit a new warrior for the same cost as a moria player could get a new goblin. It gets out of hand very quickly. @@foxgaming1139
They aren't armies, so no army bonus. Some armies that are more dependant on their army bonus are more affected by this. Angmar doesnt really feel like Angmar for example.
