  • 1 Samuel 2:17-19
17 Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord: for men abhorred the offering of the Lord.
18 But Samuel ministered before the Lord, being a child, girded with a linen ephod.
19 Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.

Thats a great message. Jesus told me when I was 4 yrs old that I was going to be like Samuel. I remember it like it was yesterday, waking up and running downstairs to my mom cooking in the kitchen. I told her what Jesus told me and she just laughed and didn't believe me. I've been through many painful times in my life and I believe Jesus allowed me to go through those things to strengthen my walk with Him. I've always had a hunger for the things of God. I cried as a child when I saw my neighbors going to church and begging my parents to please let me go. But they'd yell back to me to go back to sleep. I told a person one time how I cried if I couldn't go and they laughed at me, saying they'd never heard of a kid who'd cry to go to church. When I grew older people made fun of me in the church. When I found the true doctrine of Jesus Christ it fulfilled that hunger I've always had in me. Now I'm drinking from that fountain that never runs dry.

    Thank you 😊

I had air Nikes before they were invented; meaning shoes with holes in them, and pants too big, hand me downs with holes.

Great message! What conference was or youth district was this from?

He mainly preaches at UPCI churches, though I've heard him elsewhere. However, this was from the mid 20008-12's. Could be Louisiana, possibly Mangun's church. But yes, it was a youth conference.

    Be Royal
    Tabitha wasn't feeling well.
    The village was quite concerned.
As the night passed, prayers spoken.
The child's health waned, fever burned.
    Her sewing designs sat unfinished,
and a stack of several coats.
    She was the embroidess, admired,
generous coat repairer, meant to sew.
    So quiet, the neighbors came
crying, to stand by, to grieve.
She had passed in the night,
    the given, a quieted seed.
But in Joppa, that day, Peter came
to teach the willing of life in Christ.
The people asked him to come pray
for the precious one passed that night.
He entered the first floor, so full,
and taken to the child's side.
    From solemn knees, he prayed
with all his mind and heart on Christ.
He said, "Dorcas, rise." She opened
her eyes in response to Jesus's plans.
Peter stood by, presented the life
restored, to the widows, all at hand.
    Life, God's preference, and faith
    combine to produce miracles, kind.
Jesus did not hesitate for Tabby.
    Those blessings and miracles remind.
