    the grain structure of tool steel when it breaks looks really weird and crystalline

      @sweepphreak I hear ya. Very crystalline break for sure. When I looked at it closer while making this video it looked less like powdered than I thought it did when I first looked at it.

    I know nothing about steel but wouldn't sintered steel polish up the same as forged chrome vanadium tool steel.

      @stuartburton1167 I wondered about that myself. I'm definitely no materials expert. I'll have to try it next time I get a hold of something that definitely is powdered. There is no end to things you can learn in this trade!

    i dont think its powdered metal the heat treating was off its tool steel

    Snap On has to make more money from you and make cheaper tools to be able to SPONSOR more race cars and other sponsoring needs, this is why I do not buy SO.
