Great video. Thanks. Does the monopod only lock in an exact upright angle? What if the ground as uneven? Will it lock at whatever angle that is required?
around 5'40, you hold the monopod with all the weight of the camera+lens on the other side and it kind of bends... I believe when you say it's sturdy, I also own it, but what if I install gimbal (DJI RS2) + a cinema camera like the EOS R5C and a lens... I wonder if I should use more than 2 sections. Btw, are you from QC?
Hi, I use the monopod primarily for shooting real estate where I mount flashes on it and use it fully extended. Never had an issue as the weight isn’t that much. And yes I from QC, can’t get rid of the accent…
As a realtor, this doesn’t hold up well in outdoor terrain. 360 shots with a slight wind in a residential property always tend to make my unit tip over. I guess this is great for specific applications with flat surfaces.
I agree, it works best to support the camera and is not intended to be used as a replacement for a tripod. I primarily use it to support my camera when setup with my telephoto lens or with speedlight during real estate photoshoot. It is very handy as I can move a flash in every corner of a room.
I have and like this monopod too ... it is the perfect monopod to pair with a Wimberley MonoGimbal for birds-in-flight photography with a big lens.
Good overview, thanks

Nice review! I got a bit nervous when you unscrew the camera from the monopod. 😅

Weight capacity?
Is there a way to convert the older Swivel base 562 to the Locking base
please someone tell me info about the track that plays at 3.20
Большой молодец, мне понравилось видео
How does that base hold up in water or sand?
So it as been good after a good fresh water rinse. That being said I mainly use my Manfrotto tripod for shooting on beaches and water. So far so good!
Can you please share the link from where this can be bought?
Here is a Amazon Link Manfrotto XPro 4 Section Aluminium Video Monopod with FluidTech Base amzn.to/2CJGSDV
