    Was at Nesbyen this summer as an almost beginner, and cannot recommend it enough for others! Hallingspranget is the most fun I have had in years!

    Great video and so happy to see the trails in good condition. Was there this summer and absolutely loved it. We should thank the beatiful healthy diverse forest for absorbing most water preventing trail damage. And good build quality of course.

    Very good Video! I´m happy to hear that no one was hurt during the flood.
    I am currently in contact with Trailhead Nesbyen to assist with trail construction next season. I hope it works.
    Your videos show what a beautiful area Nesbyen is and I would like to be part of this mtb community at least temporarily.
    Keep it up, your videos are really good!

    Så tråkigt att se översvämningen men stigarna har klarat sig skapligt förutom på några ställen. Nesbyen är super!

    Hei Markus, Thanks for this really informative video. These youtube algorithms really work - I just watched the latest episode of Dialled and this came up as a suggestion. The timing couldn't be better. I'm heading up to Nesbyen tonight for the weekend. Was planning to ride mainly the west-side, especially Beaster so great to hear that is mainly ok after the devastation of Hans. I hope local businesses and residents are recovering after the flooding. Is there a way to Vipps a donation to trail restoration?

    The sand berms are better when wet actually as it holds the sand better and it is less loose that way and you can be a bit more confident.

    Hey hey ✌️ I was in Norway in your area until last week and actually wanted to bike in Nesbyn or other hallingdal areas but to be honest it was so extremely confusing to understand how the hallingdal bike area is separated and where are what trails and so on. What are actual bikeparks or if we had to use a shuttle was all not really clear and easy to understand. And also no real good English information. It was so confusing that because of that and bad weather on last Sunday we actually skipped to ride there because we didn’t know if it would be worth it, even when I was so excited about riding the trails I find out in your videos :/ Was very sad about this. Hope you work on this for the future and there will be a time we will come bike to ride your place ✌️

      Hey. Sucks that you didn't get to ride as much as you wanted. I think I have communicated pretty extensively in my videos that you can use trailguide.net to find trails. We don't really do that much shuttling or uplifts in Norway. Most of the biking is just you biking to the top. We have a few places that shuttle in Nesbyen and that info is found here: www.visitnorway.com/places-to-go/eastern-norway/hallingdal/mountain-biking/
      If you still feel like it's not well communicated, you should send a message to visit norway or hallingdal rides.

    Was this entire video shot in GoPro Labs LOGB=400 and WIDE=1? (GoPro shots obviously..)

    • @MarkusFinholt
      @MarkusFinholt  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! At the time I didn't think I had shot in WIDE=1, so I just added gamma correction, not gamut correction. But it turns out the WIDE=1 gamut looks almost the same as the out of camera rec709 gamut the gopro shoots. So I was a bit confused. But this is WIDE=1. You would get the same look without WIDE=1 here though. Confusing, yes.
