And if they wanted to they could take everything from him, destroy his career, keep him behind bars and get more money than what he was paying. They were fucking scum of the earth.
I also forgot to mention that the Chandler family in 1993 *deliberately* chose to subpoena Michael Jackson while he was on a break from his world tour for Dangerous. He had only completed one leg, and was resting up for the second. They knew that, by serving him in the middle of the tour, he would immediately have to make a choice: Fight, and lose millions proving your innocence, with full knowledge that they're going to parade photographs of your genitals around a courtroom to humiliate you, knowing they can't win, but they can embarrass and degrade you all the same? Or settle out of court, knowing you'll make the $25 million back in 5 nights on tour? The decision to settle - while still *profoundly* stupid - begins to make a little more sense, at that point.

I agree, sir. I never bought that he was a pedo; I just believed he had a hard childhood and it lead to having some odd coping mechanisms when he got older. He was a strange guy at times, but people with genius like his are usually eccentric, and there's nothing wrong with being eccentric.
It's also not all that uncommon for victims of childhood abuse to regress in some ways. I mean for all intents and purposes, Michael Jackson didn't get a childhood so befriending kids who had similar experiences and building Neverland, they're just ways of reclaiming a childhood he never really got to have.
It always kind of bothered me how the entertainment industry and the public have not forgiven Mel Gibson for saying some let’s be honest incredibly stupid shit a decade after he said them, to the point that the guy can only get work in borderline B movies and yet roman Polanski who raped a teenager still has some level or respect and admiration. I cannot be the only one who is bothered by this right?
Razorfist has single handely made me realise that it's OK to listen to MJ's music again. I feel ashamed of myself for buying the media's bullshit for the last 30 years. Now I blare my favourite MJ tracks out of my stereo. Songs like Smooth Criminal, Give into me, Leave me alone and Scream.
I don't think I've ever seen RF this genuinely angry. Sure he rants about games and movies, and though you can tell he's passionate about it; it always felt as if it was in good fun. The 10 second rant on Sony seemed like 100% genuine hatred.
Thank god for Razorfist. Its about time I saw a video that DEFENDS Micheal Jackson. By most accounts, he was a brilliant, loving person that deserves praise and admiration.
I kinda feel sorry for fellow MJ fans who see HIStory as a lesser album. Growing up in the 90s - HIStory inspired my love for the world, life and humanity. It encouraged me, as a child, to see how magical simple things in life are, and how far we can get by not letting hate win and by banding together. HIStory may not be his highest achievement in terms of musical originality or composition as an artist... but it was absolutely his highest achievement in humanity as an artist and anyone has yet to parallel it. Say what you will about Heal The World, Earth Song, Stranger in Moscow - they raised a generation of travelers, idealists and activists.
HIStory is mega underrated. Scream, They Don't Care About Us, Stranger in Moscow, Earth Song, You Are Not Alone, Tabloid Junkie...all top shelf MJ. Tons of great stuff on the 2nd disc. And the 1st disc being a great selection of greatest hits makes it a great double disc set for road trips ;)
HIStory was his most honest album. He was showing his anger: TDCAU, Scream, Tabloid Junkie, 2 Bad, D.S. , This Time Around, Money... And he shared some of his lonelyness in Stranger In Moscow. It was such a personal album.
I always thought it was his most personal album, he's almost arguably actually not bothered by it being a commercial success, although adding book 1 probably helped to an extent but his real motivation was to put his side of things over.
It's appalling that many believe (thanks to the media) that Michael Jackson OUTBID Paul McCartney in the purchase of the rights of some of the Beatles catalog. I have attached a rare video here on some details how MJ purchased the Beatles catalog. Straight from the mouth of the previous owners - they got a right of refusal from Paul McCartney and Paul REFUSED to bid. They offered the catalog to Paul first, but Paul refused to buy it. The catalog was not just made of Beatles songs but songs from other artists too. MJ purchased the catalog not mainly because of the Beatles' songs but because of the black artists' songs. Michael Jackson - Perth Australia 1985 (Beatles/ATV Publishing Rights) *Rare Footage*
MJ had Sony Music by the balls. Since he was not going broke like other musicians that had been suckered in by them it is conceivable that they would want to help him along. Sell rights to young musician. Musician goes broke and sells them back at a fraction of the price paid. Michael frequently joked about this.
@@mikenuzzo3323 Paul wasn't "outbid". He never even bid on his own catalog. How can anyone, who never made a bid, be outbid? Paul just couldn't believe MJ managed to win. You can bet Paul would never had expressed him being offended, if Virgin or MCA Record won and not MJ... At least Paul had no problems or objections, when Holmes á Court bought ATV...
Blood on the dance floor and History are my favourites.. Morphine, Little Susie, Is it scary are masterpieces. They are like his musical autobiography, along with some tracks from invincible like unbreakable and threatened.
The hypocrisy in the potshots frequently taken by Hollywood against the Roman Catholic Church over the latter's depravity is astounding. Anyway, great retrospective.
Towards the end you talk about him throwing out the good songs from xscape, but I am not so sure he was throwing them out, I think he was saving them from Sony, for when he was free of his contract with them and ready to work on an album Outside of that contract. The back story Corey Rooney tells about Michael telling him to hang onto the song Chicago for him and not to let Sony have it points in that direction.
Yea he has the way mj thought exactly right he was a perfectionist he knew exactly what his fans wanted which is why its been said that he bullshitted invisible and didn't put his best work on there on purpose sony wouldn't let him leave the company without holding up the 7 albums deal or whatever he owed them a few more albums before he was free of the contract. In the end I find it odd that after this is it he was preparing to go into movie producing maybe he rather go into a whole different field then cough up anymore musical genius for Sony lol
They did have a couple before MJ (the Pointer Sisters was one), but yes, MTV refused to generally cover artists of African descent because they said 'We Cover Rock Music', as if Bo Diddley or Siser Rosetta Tharpe never existed. Rick James (who had rock elements in his music) was one of the biggest protesters of MTV's racism, before CBS 'allegedly' threatened the company with pulling their artists if they didn't put MJ in the rotation. And the rest is history. It was so bad that David Bowie had to call them out.
Well researched and well said. I remember those those trials and allegations against Michael as a kid in middle school. There were a ton of kids with "opinions" that basically amounted to circumstances and rather strange arguments.(One girl talked about the Peter Pan thing) I made maybe one joke as a kid, but my mom took it as a personal attack and got really defensive about it. I never really said anything about it after that. Thing is, the whole time I knew something was off about the whole thing. I just couldn't put it to words, but I never truly believed that he did any of that stuff. I mean, I never laughed at any MJ pedo jokes...ever. Heck, I didn't even laugh at my own joke when I made it that one time as a kid. I grew up, and as I grew up I followed gaming. As I followed gaming, I started noticing trends. Those trends more often than not stemmed from one thing. Money. I Started. To Learn. To Follow. The Money. Once I started following the money, a lot more things started to make more sense. Those families lied to get a pay out. Sony made calculated efforts to take down MJ for a paycheck.(Hilarious that it would be less than what they WOULD have made if they supported him properly) Thanks for the video Razorfist and god fucking speed.
MJ appealed and continues to appeal to fans of all genres, I’m a huge fan of rock and metal, I was in a classic rock band that toured and nearly got signed, but as a kid in the 80’s there was only one hero, and that was MJ!
You have to say that was Eddie s brilliance alone. That is one solo that guitar players study to this day. Quincey Jones might have had something to do with it also.
@GNnisa orobo obviously you get the internet in your country. Go on TH-cam and check out VAN HALEN 2 and FAIR WARNING. The guitar player is Eddie Van Halen same dude who collaborated with Michael on BEAT IT
Honestly, I've been only a minor to medium fan of your videos for years, really enjoying your particularly articularly rageouts. However this video is not only the best one I've seen from you but possibly the best look at MJ's solo career ever in my opinion. Well done, sir.
Absolutely loved this! I just found out about you on twitter and man, i'm a fan! My all time fave MJ album is also Dangerous. It's so refreshing to hear someone actually giving the respect Michael Jackson deserves as the greatest entertainer to ever lived! Thank you so much for all this MJ content you do, really great 👍
Squee Jezza, I remember years ago, Till said whenever he would perform live on stage, he'd usually concentrate on one person in the crowd. I'm not sure if he is still like that.
Squee Jezza Yes and other amazing German bands, like: Unheilig, Eisbrecher, Joachim Witt, MONO INC., Megaherz, Melotron, Purwien, Schwarzer Engel, Kraftwerk, Mantus, Black Heaven, Sepia, and Angelzoom.
Cecil's Wayback Gaming Machine Just how corrupt is the Japanese music industry exactly? I'm genuinely curious. The only issue I know of is the rather unfair treatment of it's female pop idols who, it seems, are forced out of their bands once they reach a certain age.
They're also forced into other... more odd conditions of their contracts at times. Basically, in terms of getting people to sell everything and their soul for fame, Tokyo makes Hollywood look like a fucking chump in screwing you to the dirt, from what I know at least.
Bad is in my top 5 and I must note that Speed Demon and Leave Me Alone are both masterpieces that are often overlooked. The entire album is a masterpiece.
Great retrospective man, and thank you for telling the truth about aligations and telling the truth about this timeless artist. We need more MJ's in this world for sure.
God bless brother. I love Michael Jackson for all the same reasons you do. MJ is a true Champion and inspired me to never give up and be a Champion too.
Thank you for this. I've mentioned before how eloquent, intelligent and witty you are. I have so much respect for you. We love you Michael. I'll never forget being at Neverland. Rest angel.
MJ was one of my babysitters growing up! Well... not him literally but his greatest hits vhs tape that I played front to back over and over again day after day! I could go on for eternity about my love for his genius but I’ll end it by saying thank you for this video!
I really enjoyed this video. I was surprised that you felt the way about Bad that you did especially since so many people really love it and it had 5 number one singles. Not to mention that the Bad tour was phenomenally successful. Just like you, Dangerous is my favorite album of MJ's for the very same reasons you note. Thank you also for giving substance to why Invincible was ahead of its time....Dubstep is the answer. It is a unique album that deserves some "love" and thanks for giving it some.It is one of the most successful albums of the '00's with 13 million sold but is rarely mentioned. Critics really suck and thanks for pointing that out too. They are just soooooo shallow when reviewing Michael Jackson's music. Sadly there were too caught up with the drama and didn't focus properly on the music. There is one though that is worth going back and investigating and his name is Armond White. He really got Jackson and his music.
Old school (emphasis on old) metalhead punk here and definitely an fan of MJ. Many thanks for sharing your views Razorfist, I totally agree! I'm quite curious of your views on Prince, or The Artist Formally Know As. Can we get a "Music Mythos" on him? I'm unashamedly a fan.
I found you because of the MJ debunking videos but I'm ashamed to say I'm just now watching this one. It's really cool to see the evolution of your shtick. Great content.
On top of the five killer new songs (some of which are 10/10) there's also the near 40 minute short film, Ghosts, co-written with fucking Stephen King. Razorfist definitely should have done it
Love the videogame song references There's so many more. Knuckles theme in Sonic 3 is "Ghost", Ice Cap Zone is "Who is it" AND "Smooth Criminal", and the Sonic 3 credits song is "Stranger in Moscow".
Ice Cap Zone theme might have some resemblance to ''Who is it''. but in actuality, Brad Buxer, who was also a former member of the new wave band The Jetzons and one of the composers of Sonic 3, Ice Cap Zone theme actually originated from an unreleased song called ''Hard Times'' which was released at last years The Lost Masters album.
Jesus, about time I heard someone else point out the long list of reasons calling MJ a paedophile fucks me right off. It was feeling like I was the only one left that didn't think he did it.
As a metal destroyer like myself from the 70’s I actually seen the Jackson 5 in a music festival here in Irvine with such groups as Rare Earth and Earth Wind Fire. I’m not ashamed to say it was a great evening of music … Roughly a week later I seen BOC with Coven
A little story: a Portuguese journalist and author did a mystery children's/young-people's book series in the late 1980s-1990s, when looking for ideas for stories that "the kids" would like he decided to put them checking a pop concert ("What's pop star is popular with the kids? Idk, Michael Jackson!"), so there's this "Famous Five" or "Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew" style book about youngun detectives who save Michael Jackson from kidnapper (it is called what translates as "Run, Michael, Run!"). Onwards to the "noughts", a TV series of those books was made, and since the production team had some TV and abroad export links they got the hold of MJ's agent and approached MJ if he wanted to star as himself. Jackson always wanting to spread out to acting and not being shy of playing with his own image (he played himself as AN ALIEN in MIB2!) he said yes and was all excited but then started inquiring more in detail on the show, and when he was full aware it was a younger audience show he refused along the lines of "Are you crazy, you want to put me in a KIDS SHOW after all the problems I've been having?!" In the end they made up a FEMALE singer for the episode and made the loverboy of the teen trio have a crush on her and the book plot was mostly kept. You want to tell me, a guy this careful about being around even young adults playing teens and the image it would give, would get himself into trouble so silly and extremely as most absurd abuse stories say? Also, just warning that for a recent video of my own on Lisa Marie Presley I used very short clips from this "Music Mythos" with full credit given to you on screen during them, on the final credit and in the video description (unlike some people fully stealing Music Mythos format shamelessly with no credit. -cough, cough- BangerTV!, hmmm, sorry on that, get pretty allergic in the Spring), and hope you don't mind the miniscule percentage of the video using your basic review on "Dangerous" and your official statements on Lisa Marie Presley circa 1995. Anyhow, I don't share most of your views but I enjoy your more cultural/historical work, stay healthy and carry on.
The stuff from OTW is still my favorite. Crank it up every time it comes on the radio. I was into MJ back in '84 when Thriller ruled the world, then metal came along and one had to choose a side back then. Michael Jackson will always be the King.
This was good. I'm a metalhead who's first musical love was MJ. Dangerous never clicked for me but your enthusiasm makes me want to revisit it and check out the material after.
Hoo boy I didn't expect this to be so long when I started typing, but I feel like this is the best video I could leave this comment on because of everything you did for Michael. That I am very thankful of. Keep in mind these are just my opinions and how I feel about MJ. I was 13 when he passed away and hadn't heard any of his songs until then. My parents told me he was guilty of CSA so I went in knowing about all of that. I was fully aware how horrible it is for an adult to abuse a child, but I still gave him the benefit of the doubt and listened to his music. Instant crush. I never fully believed the allegations and now after doing my research I don't believe them at all. I also talked to my parents about this because I find it important that the truth is known, whatever it may be. MJ was surely an odd person with deep psychological issues, he made mistakes, but he was not a p3do. I don't like saying this because I'm not really a supporter of race politics, but I can't help but think his race played a partial role for the scrutiny he received. But it's not the full reason. He was hated by those who have power because he wanted to expose the music industry and the media for all of their wrongdoings. He was subjected to all kinds of public ridicule and abuse, he faced one of the worst things one could be accused of. It's no wonder he resorted to self-destructive behavior, he was only human. I'm not an MJ expert but from what I've gathered, he wasn't a person who could stay silent about injustice because he genuinely believed change was possible, and he did it in the most compassionate ways. Not by fighting hate with hate or alienating people by race, gender etc, but by helping them and spreading love. He was what current social movements/organizations in the world should have become, but failed to do so. *looking at you, BLM* There are many people in the world still alive who are as good as he was, but none of them have the wealth and fame and reach he had, which makes him so unique. He was one of a kind. The fact that he tried his best to make the world a better place despite his own shortcomings makes him one of the greatest role models you could have, in my opinion. I don't know, I think he's just really neat. ❤️ P.S. All the information about MJ is fascinating but I think the highlight of this video is Razor's well-articulated opinion on Lisa Marie Presley's choice ass 😂
Awesome as ever! Yes, undoubtedly he stamped his name and music on History. There was no question that he was NOT a paedophile, but a lot of people can be very gullible at times. It was always to do with money, making money from him. It is so sad to know that a person who gave so much to help children with very severe problems (many of which were terminally ill); tried to champion their rights and was quite outspoken about the environment; was falsely charged with one of the most heinous crimes somebody can commit. As for the video: Concise, entertaining and informative as ever. Damn, you really present well! Despite thinking that you may well have at the very least a written list of prompts; your delivery is engaging and strong. It would be great to see you in other forms of media outside TH-cam should the opportunity present itself. Then again, looking at the state of journalism in general, it might be hard to find a vehicle that would be suitable. However that hasn't stopped Jon Stewart! As for Sony, well, yes you are right to point those things out. However, we are talking about a large multinational and I would not want to tar everyone in that organization with the same brush. Corruption can occur in any organization, even when the majority of the individuals within it would never even contemplate such a thing. It will be interesting to see who you choose for the next video in the series (an idea for one may well be Prince?!).
This is the best music catalog review I've EVER seen. To get the best Michael Jackson review from a Metal expert makes it even more impressive. Best channel I've ever seen.
WOW Thank you so much for MJackson. You did the right thing and your retrospective is a tribute to the one and only MJackson. In my opinion, this is the most sublime video created to explain what the genius embodied in the person of MJackson was. At the announcement of his death, I was shocked and I cried, really. I could not believe it. In previous years, he was sacrificed in the public square even in private , it was heartbreaking to see him trying not to fall into this trap set up from scratch by jealousy, envy in all the ways. He took it all on his own as much as he could but... he left us forever and it still hurts me so much. MJackson will be and will remain unique.
The BAD tracks were mostly done even before Q got involved. If I'm not mistaken, Q was credited as producer in BAD album more due to contractual obligations than actual work. It's been said there was already tension as early as Thriller days, but I could be wrong.
I love the History album! I think “they don’t care about us”, “earth song”, stranger in Moscow” and “tabloid junkies” are in my ton ten list... I also love the “smile” Mj version and also if it’s not one of my favorites, History and little Susie are incredibly beautiful songs

I mean for all intents and purposes, Michael Jackson didn't get a childhood so befriending kids who had similar experiences and building Neverland, they're just ways of reclaiming a childhood he never really got to have.
And that background you describe could also be the impetus for one to sexualize children.
@@inquisitor4635 what else?

Was the feel I got from it
It always kind of bothered me how the entertainment industry and the public have not forgiven Mel Gibson for saying some let’s be honest incredibly stupid shit a decade after he said them, to the point that the guy can only get work in borderline B movies and yet roman Polanski who raped a teenager still has some level or respect and admiration.
I cannot be the only one who is bothered by this right?
even Mr Scientology, who admittedly is still pretty relevant but nowhere near the status he had in the 90's
Think about who Mel Gibson bashed. Now recall that Polanski belongs to that group...
and the fact that Mel only said some fucked up shit and didn't actually DO any fucked up shit
The first who accused Michael Jackson is a Jew. His real surname is not Chandler, is Charmatz. I think it was a Jew conspiracy.
Hollywood doesn't have morals my guy
Razorfist has single handely made me realise that it's OK to listen to MJ's music again. I feel ashamed of myself for buying the media's bullshit for the last 30 years. Now I blare my favourite MJ tracks out of my stereo. Songs like Smooth Criminal, Give into me, Leave me alone and Scream.
Gigachad.
Scream and Leave Me Alone are really good ones! Blast them for all to hear!
IKR
Just goes to show you that old saying goes: THE MEDIA IS NOT YOUR FRIEND.
Happy jamming sir!!
@@mysryuza Leave me alone is a great one on Experience and the video of the song!
I don't think I've ever seen RF this genuinely angry. Sure he rants about games and movies, and though you can tell he's passionate about it; it always felt as if it was in good fun. The 10 second rant on Sony seemed like 100% genuine hatred.
it was genuine hatred
I would call this anger :D Hate is when you lose it.
Especially when defending a music legend like MJ
Time stamp?
Thank god for Razorfist. Its about time I saw a video that DEFENDS Micheal Jackson. By most accounts, he was a brilliant, loving person that deserves praise and admiration.
Razor earning my subscription was a calling
I never once believed he was guilty of those accusations
There are a lot of metalheads that love MJ's music, myself included. Such talent, R.I.P. Michael Jackson.
As a fellow metalhead myself, I adore MJ myself. RIP Michael. 🤘✊
MJ transcended every category musically and otherwise. He was utterly unique.
Not a fan of MJ but I have to say, the way the media treated his death was disgusting.
Don't need to be a fan to respect the man and what he did for the music industry lol
Totally agree
HIStory was his most honest album. He was showing his anger: TDCAU, Scream, Tabloid Junkie, 2 Bad, D.S. , This Time Around, Money... And he shared some of his lonelyness in Stranger In Moscow. It was such a personal album.
I always thought it was his most personal album, he's almost arguably actually not bothered by it being a commercial success, although adding book 1 probably helped to an extent but his real motivation was to put his side of things over.
God bless you.
Michael Jackson + RazorFist = automatic like and favorite!
How about the beef he had with Paul McCartney if you have ououtfbid
m for his own rights to his music
@@mikenuzzo3323 Paul wasn't "outbid". He never even bid on his own catalog. How can anyone, who never made a bid, be outbid? Paul just couldn't believe MJ managed to win. You can bet Paul would never had expressed him being offended, if Virgin or MCA Record won and not MJ... At least Paul had no problems or objections, when Holmes á Court bought ATV...
this is the best tribute to Michael Jackson I've ever seen
HIStory is probably my personal favorite album of Michael's. I was too young to remember or even care about all the drama surrounding the album.
Michael Jackson is for everyone. There are no barriers!
Blood on the dance floor and History are my favourites.. Morphine, Little Susie, Is it scary are masterpieces. They are like his musical autobiography, along with some tracks from invincible like unbreakable and threatened.
my favourite song is Smooth Criminal
Is Blood on the Dance Floor not a official michael jackson album? I just don't understand why he didn't mention it on here
@@oliverqueen9886 Most of the songs are remixes so he probably chose to avoid it rather than have to look at them or ignore them.
YES! Michael Jackson is the GREATEST Entertainer to ever live. Long Live the KING!
The hypocrisy in the potshots frequently taken by Hollywood against the Roman Catholic Church over the latter's depravity is astounding.
Anyway, great retrospective.
And. Visa versa their both satanic.
At least In catholic church, the pedophiles are a tiny minority.

Very interesting. Good lookin' out.
Explains so much.
Rose Clarity

Yea he has the way mj thought exactly right he was a perfectionist he knew exactly what his fans wanted which is why its been said that he bullshitted invisible and didn't put his best work on there on purpose sony wouldn't let him leave the company without holding up the 7 albums deal or whatever he owed them a few more albums before he was free of the contract. In the end I find it odd that after this is it he was preparing to go into movie producing maybe he rather go into a whole different field then cough up anymore musical genius for Sony lol
I think it's also worth noting that until Michael Jackson, MTV flat out refused to play videos from black artists.
now mtv thanks him.racist bastards
There were a ton of kids with "opinions" that basically amounted to circumstances and rather strange arguments.(One girl talked about the Peter Pan thing)
I made maybe one joke as a kid, but my mom took it as a personal attack and got really defensive about it.
Sony made calculated efforts to take down MJ for a paycheck.(Hilarious that it would be less than what they WOULD have made if they supported him properly)
Thanks for the video Razorfist and god fucking speed.
MJ appealed and continues to appeal to fans of all genres, I’m a huge fan of rock and metal, I was in a classic rock band that toured and nearly got signed, but as a kid in the 80’s there was only one hero, and that was MJ!
You forgot Eddie Van Halen on Beat It.
Alex Shannon best collaboration he did
You have to say that was Eddie s brilliance alone. That is one solo that guitar players study to this day. Quincey Jones might have had something to do with it also.
@GNnisa orobo obviously you get the internet in your country. Go on TH-cam and check out VAN HALEN 2 and FAIR WARNING. The guitar player is Eddie Van Halen same dude who collaborated with Michael on BEAT IT
@GNnisa orobo Yup. Absolutely legendary
I'm watching your videos about MJ today while other people are watching that trash documentary. Michael Jackson was the greatest!
My God Razorfist, I tip my hat to you. That rant on Sony was amazing.
Much respect!!...the archangel Micheal is smiling down on you for this one!!...you get a hood pass any day from me
Anyone else coming back to watch this today on June 25th, 2023?
I have always loved Michael. Never stopped and never believed the lies about him. I'm currently saving up for an MJ tattoo 😊
That Paul McCartney roast has to be one of the funniest shit I've ever seen on TH-cam.
Yaaas! That one finished me. 🤣🤣🤣😭
I went to neverlandland and met MJ IN his movie theatre. He was a good man.
Honestly, I've been only a minor to medium fan of your videos for years, really enjoying your particularly articularly rageouts. However this video is not only the best one I've seen from you but possibly the best look at MJ's solo career ever in my opinion. Well done, sir.
Dude, growing up with MJ in the late 80s and early 90s was fucking bad ass. We all wanted to be like "Bad" Michael Jackson.
Thriller is one of the greatest pieces of music and albums ever written. I still own the original vinyl my dad got me in 1983.
Huge MJ fan and it's good to know that someone like you out there knows so much about him and can share the truth about a great man like him,
Absolutely loved this! I just found out about you on twitter and man, i'm a fan! My all time fave MJ album is also Dangerous. It's so refreshing to hear someone actually giving the respect Michael Jackson deserves as the greatest entertainer to ever lived!
Thank you so much for all this MJ content you do, really great 👍
I always enjoy watching this as I’ve never stopped being an MJ fan.

Michael will finally be understood and appreciated decades or even centuries after his passing as all geniuses and gems are.
Thank you for speaking up against Sony.

I...NEVER pegged you for a Michael Jackson fan. GREAT retrospective and FUCK Sony.
Quick question, will ever do a mythos on Rammstein?
I've been a fan of them since 1997. Probably not enough information to do a mythos, since a lot of their stuff is private, especially Till Lindemann.
Til who, oddly enough, has stage fright.
Squee Jezza, I remember years ago, Till said whenever he would perform live on stage, he'd usually concentrate on one person in the crowd. I'm not sure if he is still like that.
Either way they fucking rock. Ever hear of Blutengel?
Squee Jezza Yes and other amazing German bands, like: Unheilig, Eisbrecher, Joachim Witt, MONO INC., Megaherz, Melotron, Purwien, Schwarzer Engel, Kraftwerk, Mantus, Black Heaven, Sepia, and Angelzoom.
Man, I kinda of don't like SONY anymore.
I never liked Sony
You think what sony did is bad you should look at the music industry as whole in japan, it's fucking nuts.
Cecil's Wayback Gaming Machine
Just how corrupt is the Japanese music industry exactly? I'm genuinely curious. The only issue I know of is the rather unfair treatment of it's female pop idols who, it seems, are forced out of their bands once they reach a certain age.
Cecil's Wayback Gaming Machine I know your comment is 3 months old but id really like to hear more about Japan's music industry under Sony
They're also forced into other... more odd conditions of their contracts at times. Basically, in terms of getting people to sell everything and their soul for fame, Tokyo makes Hollywood look like a fucking chump in screwing you to the dirt, from what I know at least.
Nice video, also thank you for defending Michael's innocence!
Bad is in my top 5 and I must note that Speed Demon and Leave Me Alone are both masterpieces that are often overlooked. The entire album is a masterpiece.
Asking Shaq to rap is like asking Shaq to rap.... Lost it. That's why I keep coming back to your old stuff!
Great retrospective man, and thank you for telling the truth about aligations and telling the truth about this timeless artist. We need more MJ's in this world for sure.
Im a metal head but i still like Michael Jackson sometimes
And now I will proceed to hunt down all these albums.
Bad is amazing. Literally loved and grew up on that album
God bless brother. I love Michael Jackson for all the same reasons you do. MJ is a true Champion and inspired me to never give up and be a Champion too.
Well put
Bro you just NAILED Dangerous. What a great album!!!
I agree with your statement on Lisa Marie Presley.
Thank you for this. I've mentioned before how eloquent, intelligent and witty you are. I have so much respect for you. We love you Michael. I'll never forget being at Neverland. Rest angel.
I am a self-proclaimed metal head and I love Michael Jackson. 🤘🏻 Great video!
Thriller was a world premiere type of thing. He had the whole world watching. Wow!
came here after all the rebuttal vids.this was great!
I am amazed that you love black metal and Michael Jackson. The variety of bands that you’ve given the mythos treatment is awesome.
Dude you’ve single handedly saved me from being completely wrong about this guy. Thank you 🙏
I found you because of the MJ debunking videos but I'm ashamed to say I'm just now watching this one. It's really cool to see the evolution of your shtick. Great content.
wait you forgot blood on the dance floor which was an amazing album
Razor's got a rule against remix albums.
On top of the five killer new songs (some of which are 10/10) there's also the near 40 minute short film, Ghosts, co-written with fucking Stephen King.
Razorfist definitely should have done it
Blood on the dance floor makes me dance like a ghoul
Yeah!!
The four Motown-era solo albums were not covered either...
Glad to see Dangerous getting some praise.
Maxiga
My God, that ain't inspiration, that was a full on copy. I'll never hear the Ice Cap zone music the same way ever again lol.
tylerdurden3891 Yeah, even I was shocked when I heard it the first time, but it's okay, it has some resemblence to ''Who is it'' single.
This is the third of the apparent four videos you have on the subject and I just wanna say you sir have changed my mind
Awesome video dude. Was a huge Michael Jackson fan in my teens, still love his stuff
Jesus, about time I heard someone else point out the long list of reasons calling MJ a paedophile fucks me right off. It was feeling like I was the only one left that didn't think he did it.
As a metal destroyer like myself from the 70’s
I actually seen the Jackson 5 in a music festival here in Irvine with such groups as Rare Earth and Earth Wind Fire. I’m not ashamed to say it was a great evening of music …
Roughly a week later I seen BOC with Coven
You have nothing to be ashamed of! Those concerts sound fucking amazing!
I saw BOC like 6 weeks ago in SoCal!
Seriously, the more of you I see the more I love. You are going to be huge and I can say I remember you from TH-cam.
Finally Someone gives Invincible it's proper credit. !!!! Love that album!!!
This was good. I'm a metalhead who's first musical love was MJ. Dangerous never clicked for me but your enthusiasm makes me want to revisit it and check out the material after.
hOLY shit! Im a metal head. And I loved MJ. You're becoming fast one of my favorite channel! Kudos for rising above the macho metalhead stereotypes.
*looking at you, BLM*
There are many people in the world still alive who are as good as he was, but none of them have the wealth and fame and reach he had, which makes him so unique. He was one of a kind. The fact that he tried his best to make the world a better place despite his own shortcomings makes him one of the greatest role models you could have, in my opinion. I don't know, I think he's just really neat. ❤️
P.S. All the information about MJ is fascinating but I think the highlight of this video is Razor's well-articulated opinion on Lisa Marie Presley's choice ass 😂
Dude I love Michael Jackson as much as I love Metal!!
That intro of MJ and music was everything!🙌🙌🙌🌹🌹🌹🌹💝💝💝
Who would have thought Michael could pull off such a sensual track like In the Closet? I had never heard it until this vid Raz0rFist
PAUSE...ok straight up thanks for saying that at the intro! Ill get back to the rest now
Well done!!! I listen to MJ nearly every fuckin day and EVERYTHING you said is bang on! and yeah ur right JAM rules!
Ur so underrated bro I swear ppl need to see ur content
This is probably the best review I have ever seen done about the King of Pop! Sweet jesus man I cant believe he was one of the first dubstep artist!
Note: Quincy Jones actually did produce bad, things went sour around the time of dangerous
The BAD tracks were mostly done even before Q got involved. If I'm not mistaken, Q was credited as producer in BAD album more due to contractual obligations than actual work. It's been said there was already tension as early as Thriller days, but I could be wrong.
@@oemisc2880 you're not.
Curious lack of mention of Eddie Van Halen’s solo on “Beat It” in this video and in the comments. That shit was game-changing.

I love the History album! I think “they don’t care about us”, “earth song”, stranger in Moscow” and “tabloid junkies” are in my ton ten list... I also love the “smile” Mj version and also if it’s not one of my favorites, History and little Susie are incredibly beautiful songs
just stumbled upon your channel MJ was one of my 1st musical influence when i was 8 or nine now i am a big metal fan, but i haven't listened to the anything since history. might have to go back and give the album's a listen to
I love how you do an actual retrospective review of MJ's career instead of "Pop suck! He's a kiddie diddler!" I remember Thriller in the 80's, and the music was just GOOD! Even tho I'm a HUGE 80s thrash metal headbanger, my "guilty pleasure" was always Prince. I salute you!
When you compared McCartney to angela Lansbury, i missed the next four minutes of the video because i couldnt stop cackling like an eighth grader who just had his first joint and heard someone say the word "boobs"
Before I watch through your MJ videos for the third time I’d to say thank you for being so outspoken about all this shit, it’s super commendable and mad respect to you man 👊
