    Hi. Do you know of a range max 1 hour drive from Vancouver that you can shoot over 500 yards? Great shooting! I have a new Cadex and will break in the same way as you did.

      Hi, sorry I don't know of any ranges from Vancouver. Merritt has one that is a little further away and its a nice range. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care.

    I MADE A MISTAKE THE BARREL TWIST IS 1:9 1/2. NOT 1:7 1/2 AS I STATED IN THE VIDEO, SORRY.

      @@georgejohnsmith I have not hunted with this rifle yet, but I will be using the Hornady 285 gr. ELD-M for hunting.The Gunwerks guys use them all the time and say they work well. They told me they even hunted in Africa with the ELD-M's. When I get footage of how they work I will post it.

    How did you get the factory muzzle break off? Can I run a suppressor on it do you think?

    • @bcextremeoutdoorsman
      @bcextremeoutdoorsman  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Josh, when I got the rifle built I told them not to install the muzzle brake that came with it. You should be able to run a suppressor, I can’t because I live in Canada. But if you live where you can use them for sure you could install one. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care.

      Any more issues with the illumination coming on with them?

      Yes, once in a while it will come on under recoil, but not very often.

    I have the same scope on a lightweight 338 lapua. and my scope light comes on as well with the recoil.

      What make of rifle do you have it on ? Have you contacted Nightforce about the light coming on ?

      @@bcextremeoutdoorsman No I haven't contacted Nightforce. im in Canada as well. so would have no scope for months. My 338 lapua is a fierce firearms CT edge. all up with gun scope spartan bipod stock pack and sling im at 9.7 pounds. I have a terminator T3 muzzel break.

    How long did it take to receive after purchasing?

    • @bcextremeoutdoorsman
      @bcextremeoutdoorsman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It wasn’t long. I want to say 5 weeks and they still had to build it. Very fast I thought.

      @@bcextremeoutdoorsman no not too bad at all. The make some beautiful rifles. Do you think this will be a long lasting rifle?

    • @bcextremeoutdoorsman
      @bcextremeoutdoorsman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Dmac6969 Yes, this rifle will last as long as any other rifle. With proper care of coarse. It still shoots lights out.
      If you get the 338 replace the hunting muzzle brake that comes with it. It’s not effective enough to control muzzle jump or recoil on the 338. With APA fat bastard brake on it I can spot all my shots.

    What material is the stock made of?

    • @bcextremeoutdoorsman
      @bcextremeoutdoorsman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Greg, this link bellow should give you your answer. At first I was sceptical about the stock as well, but it is very rigid and handles the 338 Lapua very well. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care.

      @@bcextremeoutdoorsman thanks. I ordered the exact same rifle but In 28 Nosler, I was hoping the stock wasn’t weak like the savage 110 ultrlite that I have.

      @@chrisnegenman Hi Chris, you won't be disappointed, thanks again for watching and the comment, let me know how you like it. The only bad thing about it is the stock brake it comes with is terrible with the 338, might be ok on a 28 though. Take care.
