Depends on the squad size. Solos and duos you definitely don’t need it. Trios and quads you do but that depends on your secondary, if you have amped and a 60 secondary then you could cope without it

@Benjamin S. - Not really, the initial point was a (correct) generalisation but you said recoil only which is only one of it’s attributes so I highlighted the damage range/drop off as also being very strong. Oden/Scar/AK are irrelevant despite having better damage ranges. Kilo is indeed the best gun overall in the game currently which is why it’s the meta.
