Hey guys so i really need to clear up a few things in this video that people have commented on or didn't agree with me on. Please make sure to watch the entire video 1st! So! The 1st thing is that i wanted to clear up is that im quite aware that pink haired yachiru is Kenpachi's zanpakuto, and i knew this at the time of making the video. The reason i brought up yachiru having a constant release shikai is because, for the longest time kenpachi and ichigo were the only 2 along with her to have constant release shikais, UNTIL RECENTLY. That's why in the video i wrote "At least at the time for Kenpachi." I just made a mistake and didn't say this in the video like i should have done. In reality constant release shikais are not a thing Secondly, ALOT of people were mad where i placed gin and that's understandable. But when i was ranking him, i was ranking him and speculating how strong i thought he was as a vice-captain. Because no one knows exactly how strong he was during his time as a vice-captain, and we have no information on that. But i realized after making the video that when i ranked the vizards, i ranked them as they were as vice-captains, but also CURRENTLY in the story. So it wasn't fair that i didn't rank Gin the same way. So if i was ranking gin just like the vizards and currently in the story, Gin would be at #3 for me. Right behind Aizen and Nemu, and in front of Izuru. People might think Nemu is arguable but i dont think gin is post muken trained base kenpachi level. Lastly poor yumichica!! 😭 I hate that i didn't even mention him. I always considered him a vice-captain!
I mean. Despite Yumichika not having a Zanpakutou that matches the 11th division, it's potentially one of the stronger spell/kido based Shikai. It's likely that those around his level of power can't defeat him if he ever uses it. But that is potential, and not how he normally fights. If you take him as a whole and not at his full potential, I'd but him in the middle. He's a good enough fighter that he has stayed where he is. If we rank his potential, I think he'd likely take Yachiru's place, if not higher. My only issue with him is that he doesn't have enough feats. Every time he has used Ruri'iro Kujaku, it's not been against an opponent superior to him. Not in a way where he meets his self-imposed conditions. 11 is the best spot I can place him at since it doesn't seem like Hisagi would lose a second time now that he knows Yumichika's Ruri'iro Kujaku's ability. I will reiterate,. Yumichika can likely defeat many of the vice captains. But if he's speed blitzed before he meets the self-imposed conditions to release Ruri'iro Kujaku, he's done for. His full potential can defeat so many characters that would fall for the trap the first time that he can almost break into the top 10 for me. But since he's not a vice captain, he must remain unranked for me.
I always felt like Izuru was broken powerful. The rules as writen for his powers made him a god. You have to dodge his attacks 100% of the time or you are screwed. You can not parry or block a single strike without doubling your weight. He blocks your attacks 5 times and your chest is too heavy to breath.
You could just block the attack, ichigo is a human aNd he swings a sword that probably weighs the same as a Bag of concrete like it’s nothing, doubling a few hundred gram zanpukto won’t do shit again unnatural shinigarmi strength
I miss Yumichika from the list as a honorable mention. Yes, he's a 5th/3rd seat shinigami, but his skills are on the vice-captain level. He easily bested Hisagi in the Soul Society arc. His Zanpaktou, Ruri'iro Kujaku is a kido based Zanpaktou and with its abilities, he easily oneshot most of the vice-captains(below rank 10 on your list).
@@jashin888 Yumichikas Zanpaktou have "two shikais": Fuji Kujaku is the partially released shikai, and Ruri'iro Kujaku is the true shikai. The release state depends on the name(Yumichika explains it in the fight against Charlotte Chuhlhourne).
Good to see Kira getting the repect he deserves! But of course Aizen is number one, haha! Also gotta give props to Mayuri, he is the one that made nr. 3 and nr. 2 as strong as they are! Great video as always!
Nanao definitely is higher up on the list. I don't wanna drop any spoilers from TYBW. There's actually a bunch of VC's you only spoke of pre-TYBW which makes sense, you don't wanna spoil it, and I respect that. However you did make some mistakes in general with a couple VC's all of which were pointed out by other comments so I don't feel the need to repeat what others have said. Even so, I appreciate the vid, along with your personal perspective/commentary on things. Well done. Hope to see you continue growing.
The only one I disagree with is gin, since he was an unparalleled prodigy he probably grew very quickly in power and was around the same power level as a lieutenant as he was during fake Karakura town. And I don’t think anyone on this list can beat gin during fake karakura town. Edit: other than Aizen of course
I agree 100%. When i made this list i was only counting them and their power when they were vice-captains, but totally forgot i used the vizards in their current forms also. So in short i was using a gin at the time as a vice-captain. But i really should have just used his current forms like i did with the vizards. He would be #2 or #3 if i used his current form. Im going to write and pin a comment about this to explain it more properly so look out for it
Awesome! Finally someone who understands Kira's power and ranking for some reason people always seem to rank him lower I always put Kira, Renji, and Shuhei at the top not counting the older did ones or Aizen.
I know I disagree with you on somethings from time to time but it’s all in respect. But, honestly your video makes me want to go rewatch Bleach again for like the literal fifth or sixth time now lol.
Shuhei should probably be higher on the list imo. While he may or may not be able to defeat the people above him the people above him defintely wouldn’t be able to defeat him. The best anyone above him could get is a stalemate. And because of his bankai he can fight people way above any of the others. Say aizen for example could blitz and murder every other person on the list no matter what ability they activate. But shuhei could link their reatsu pools and kill himself along with aizen. I think that puts him above all the others

Fun Fact about rangiku is that she had a piece of the soul king in her which was taken which made her fragile as a child getting sick as we saw so she would have been much stronger if she didnt have a piece of her soul removed also on top of that rangiku is super lazy but thats only cause she has a good captain if she had a bad one like isshin was she would work hard lol that really shows her personality best only tries hard when she needs too.
@@matthewsmith4483 apparently rangiku had the Nail of the soul king? dunno if it's official, but from the unofficial translations Aizen states that she took the nail of the soul king from rangiku in order to stabilize his hogyoku

But I have a couple disagreements I am going to list below You are WAYYYY over estimating yachiru, she is but a extension of Kenpachi, the “solidifying reiatsu” thing was just an artistic choice at the time, as the same thing happened to ichigo and Kenpachi during their first fight, which they weren’t that strong at all during. Yachiru’s shikai is also nothing but an extra two swords, which is incredibly weak compared to other lieutenants shikai Rating Sasakibe lower than Rukia and Renji and Kira feels like an insult to the guy who mastered Bankai before shunsui and ukitake, two well known incredibly powerful captains and the second captain commander, and who scarred Yamamotos face, the guy who has possibly the most powerful zanpakuto EVER
SPOILERS] I hope Hell arc sees more of Isane because she's a Captin now and that's why she has a bankai and she gets more screentime. I also hope Unohana trained with her while she was alive. The same is with Lisa and Iba who are Captins and we haven't seen their Bankais yet and they are definitely stronger too. I also hope that Shunsui has trained Nanao and that she fights better with the sword and that way she becomes stronger and maybe even develops a bankai. I'm also kind of hoping for Kiyone and Sentaro to be more in Hell arc with strength, maybe they've been training for the death of their Captain Utikate
Gin should be number 2, here's why: gin was said to be an unparalleled talent in the databooks, that means even hitsugaya and aizen didnt have his talent. He also lied about his power to everyone so he was even stronger than that and he even almost killed second stage aizen with his bankai. Also the espada were implied to be weaker than him and tosen and kaien's powers were the same as an espada. he also one shot ichigo with his new hollow mask which was stronger than all his previous forms even when he beat grimjow. Gin is an absolute beast.

And again we never saw him go all out still because he was always lying about his abilities. He was an absolute beast and is definitely second only to aizen
Pretty sure he said he is ranking gin on what he thinks how powerful gin was as a lieutenant. We actually don't know. He know how strong he was as a captain. And when he 1st joined the gotei 13 as a child he killed the 3rd seat of the 5th division. But even then we don't know how strong gin was.
Tetsusaemon, Insane and Lisa should be higher on the list just from the fact that they have confirmed Bankai ( as captain ) Unlike others you put higher on the list
The thing about Aizen being number 1 is that if you believe Urahara didn't get any stronger from back then to current time, and Urahara was able to kill and then fight with a way stronger version of Aizen, then LT Aizen saying he could beat Urahara and Tessai is just wrong I personally think Urahara did get stronger actually, but after the SS arc. Urahara Shikai shield got broken by an initial Shikai Ichigo's Getsuga Tensho and Yoruichi also stated she was rusty. Then Yoruichi hurts herself hitting Yammy and Urahara's Shikai attack gets swatted away by Ulquiorra. Then Urahara and Yoruichi are then strong enough to tussle with Aizen along with Isshin. And then they're both able to individually tussle with Askin. And finally in the Novel, Urahara can fight Aura, who he compared to or said is greater than Aizen, and then Yoruichi's Spiritual Pressure was said to be comparable to Tokinada and Byakuya's, base to base at least, with her having diffeent levels of Shunko amps
You didn’t read the novel right. He said that her basic full bring ability is leveled up because she doesn’t have a unique ability. He said for example imagine a soul reaper who couldn’t use his zanpaktou but with kido on aizens level. He never stated she was on aizens level just that she could manipulate reishi real well. Aizen would clap easily

You know Kira scales to two people at that point; Shaz Domino and that form of Lillie. These two characters also scale to only one other character; Kira. It's an eternal loop of scaling. Without an actual feat they are unscalable and you can only assume their power but they aren't scalable. Also Kenpachi's sword is not constantly in it's released shikai state. It's stated by Byakuya that his unreleased sword does not actually exist. You might be able to make the case that it's his sealed sword but it is not his released shikai; otherwise what is Nozarashi??? The video was OK but there were some things that were just really, really wrong.
@@jschoma11 It's his unreleased sword. Byakuya state that they thought it was like Ichigo and constantly in a state of release but they were wrong. Byakuya says something along the lines of "It doesn't even exist" but what he means I don't think is really fully elaborated on.

Good list but I disagree with Iba. He made captain at the end for a reason and the qualifications to become captain isn't easy. Wish kubo explored his character more.
Wasn't Okakibe the Head Captain's Yammamoto Lieutenant? if so didn't he give the head captain one of the scars on his forehead using his Bankai (off screen)? if so that's quite a feat that should make him the most powerful Lieutenant ever!
What's the big idea with a lieutenant scarring Yamamoto? Hisagi managed to kill Tousen. Just like Ichigo managed to cut Zaraki even though Zaraki, Kisuke both ranked his level at 3rd seat.
Ehh I still feel Izuru didn't show enough to be above Renji or Rukia but other than that it's a very good list and you had good points and facts for all of your positions so no complaints here
I feel like it's a bit unfair to include the visords because they weren't considered lieutenants anymore after they got their power up. In the same vein, I feel like it's a bit unfair to include lieutenants who became captains. I dunno, it just feels weird to rank the power of the leutenants when a lot of their positions changed. Because, by that same logic, nearly every captain should also be on this list.
That's fair, especially when you consider the number one spot is literally one of the series BBEGs. I think they should only be counted if lieutenant was the highest rank they achieved. That and probably put a time threshold for the sake of standardizing the scaling.
@@aguyontheinternet9095 Generally I agree. Lisa left the Gotei 13 after she became a Visord, and she got promoted to captain less than a year after she returned. Rukia's power up boosted her into being promoted to captain. Not to mention Isane and Iba were both promoted to captain before we could see what they're really capable of.
I don't know about placing Renji that high man. It seems like every time I see him fight using his bankai he gets folded. Even to this day in Kubo's new arc in the manga 1st thing I see is Renji getting beat again.

Nemu is that strong. Like havoc said she proved mayuri wrong by blitzing pernida and one shotting it. Izuru beating renji is debatable but he had a great argument of why Izuru would beat renji
Nemu is actually that strong believe it or not she was able to defeat a pernida who had the strength and power of post muken training kenpachi and the izuru one is proven in some light novel feats and also his shikai ability has an underrated but hax ability. It literally doubles the wait of anything it cuts. Example: 2 doubled = 4 4 doubled = 8 8 doubled = 16 And there is no set limit for this ability
I absolutely thinks he can. As nodt fear could possibly not work. The novels say that izuru is not really likena shinigami but it's like he is dead. It gets confusing but even if fear could work i still think izuru would win. Mask has the worst match up here in my opinion. Mask power works similar to shaz power. Izuru could literally just weight madk down and he wouldn't be able to do anything
Both of them would blitz him to hell. Kira gets no diffed by both of them. And Rukia already tried that zombie escape fear move and it only worked on base As Nodt. It started failing once he stopped playing around.
@@shihoblade neither of them would blitz kira: Mask de masculine could easily be subdued by kira and that hax he has would literally make mask do nothing plus kira could use a kido to destroy james so that he can't regen As nodt isn't that good in physical combat and his fear only worked on "frozen" rukia because it works with very deep forms of fear but as we see, if you have no fear it will not work. As originally said his fear is primal but that was debunked by byakuya as all it took was rukia gaining confidence in herself from her brother and the fear effects no longer worked. Considering kira is quite literally a collection of dead shinigami the fear would most likely not work. And izurus strength in the nivels is insane so nah
Imo hanataro should have become a vice captain after the tybw. He doesnt even need to be that good at healing kido because his sword does most of the work for him pretty easily and he actually has his shikai unlocked
Idk about Chojiro placement. I think it should be lower on the list because he got taken out pretty easy by a non serious SS arc Ichigo in about 3 seconds. Even though he has bankai and can spare against yama, the fact he couldn't match Ichigo in based form's speed and got knocked out with one hit to the lower jaw. That should lower his rank to at least below hiyori.
Sorry but you are absolutely underestimating Renji. Renji is far beyond a mid captain level fighter. Honestly he was close to that level BEFORE the trip to the soul palace. After he was definitely high captain level. Rose and Kensei both are solid mid captain level fighters only held back by having peas for brains (especially Rose) They got fodderized by Mask and well Renji's fight wasn't a fight. It was an execution. Mask had NOTHING to hit Renji with. And the only reason Renji resorted to his true bankai was similar to Ichigo using Mugetsu on Aizen. You can't regenerate if nothing of you is left. I might comcede Nemu her feat against Pernada works but Renji would annihilate Kira. He knows about Wabisuke. He won't get hit by it and destroy Kira with his bankai.

Having Isane Kotetsu this low on the list is criminal. She's literally a captain now, and I doubt she's grown that much is strength since the start of bleach, as that's not really her specialty, so she's probably always been a captain candidate.
Nah. Mayuri literally said this himself. You forget how pernida absorbing ability works? Pernida absorbs information. He did this with kenpachi and later mayuri's bankai lol. Mayuri said nemu wouldn't be able to get away from pernida because pernida's speed is now on the level of kenpachi's. Then nemu proceeds to not only prove mayuri wrong, but she also blitzs and destroys one of the pernida hands. She is in fact on that POST muken trained base kenpachi level. I don't know why you said pre muken.
ok i get that shuhei is smart enough to not use his bankai in a fight, but isnt this a ranking of how strong they are in general? like shuhei literally beats anyone in bleach who isnt ichigo, ywach, or aizen. like sure he would die but he would literally still kill them, i think that puts him above some captains aswell, and all the lutienents. sure he wont walk away alive but his bankai is still capable of killing nearly anyone in the verse, even if its a sacrifice.
I think shuehei bankai works really well for him cause he doesnt like reaping lives as a soul reaper and he always had a problem with that so his bankai make it were yeah he cant kill his opponent but he can beat them and either seal them or stop them from fighting in someway.

Nanao has a zangpaktou it was untrusted to captain kuraku years ago she failed to imprint die to a curse or something like that but has a family zangpaktou that she isn't strong enough to wield.
I feel like, Gin would probably be stronger than Shu, and even hachi. Not saying it'd be easy, but I feel like his skill in battle along with his speed. I feel like he could over power them.
Renji is honestly so overrated in terms of power. He's all brute strength. How you ranked Gin so low on this list is such a crime when he is easily be Number 2. He never revealed his true strength until the end, and even then, we never got to see it all. He was toying with Hitsugaya and Ichigo during his fights with them too.
@@CaptainHavoc I dont think it would be a good show of Choijiro since he left everything behind to stay loyal to yamamoto. I think it would have been the best if we get and ova for him during the time where there was no gotei 13 up to the point where he died
@@Nekogami04 the Zanpakuto were not in a Power Struggle....it was Ichigo who had problems with his powers. He didn't like associating with His hollow, Cz as a Shinigami, he thought they were different. Until he met the visoreds.

They chose to exist differently Cz each had it's own ambition....1 had to protect Ichigo by limiting his potential & should he be powerful, kill him. The other was to seek Fights & grow stronger & should Ichigo grow weak, "kill" him
Bleach has a good premise and character design but the power level is meh. And only Ichigo as a cliché powers up like a typical shounen. Like they could've made ikakku's bankai getting stronger the more damage he absorbs. The more shattered it is, the stronger. Or they could've given each power some clear restrictions since it is connected to the soul, and that makes it stronger or weaker depending on the opponent, not just make the protagonist power up just because of the plot armor. It's sad that Tite Kubo finished the manga immediately.

Not at all he had resort to bankai to beat and bakai ensares and drain reaistu without that shuhei wouldve beat him. Probably pretty easy too

Shuhei should probably be higher on the list imo. While he may or may not be able to defeat the people above him the people above him defintely wouldn’t be able to defeat him. The best anyone above him could get is a stalemate. And because of his bankai he can fight people way above any of the others. Say aizen for example could blitz and murder every other person on the list no matter what ability they activate. But shuhei could link their reatsu pools and kill himself along with aizen. I think that puts him above all the others

You are WAYYYY over estimating yachiru, she is but a extension of Kenpachi, the “solidifying reiatsu” thing was just an artistic choice at the time, as the same thing happened to ichigo and Kenpachi during their first fight, which they weren’t that strong at all during. Yachiru’s shikai is also nothing but an extra two swords, which is incredibly weak compared to other lieutenants shikai
Rating Sasakibe lower than Rukia and Renji and Kira feels like an insult to the guy who mastered Bankai before shunsui and ukitake, two well known incredibly powerful captains and the second captain commander, and who scarred Yamamotos face, the guy who has possibly the most powerful zanpakuto EVER
SPOILERS] I hope Hell arc sees more of Isane because she's a Captin now and that's why she has a bankai and she gets more screentime. I also hope Unohana trained with her while she was alive. The same is with Lisa and Iba who are Captins and we haven't seen their Bankais yet and they are definitely stronger too. I also hope that Shunsui has trained Nanao and that she fights better with the sword and that way she becomes stronger and maybe even develops a bankai. I'm also kind of hoping for Kiyone and Sentaro to be more in Hell arc with strength, maybe they've been training for the death of their Captain Utikate

Gin should be number 2, here's why: gin was said to be an unparalleled talent in the databooks, that means even hitsugaya and aizen didnt have his talent. He also lied about his power to everyone so he was even stronger than that and he even almost killed second stage aizen with his bankai. Also the espada were implied to be weaker than him and tosen and kaien's powers were the same as an espada. he also one shot ichigo with his new hollow mask which was stronger than all his previous forms even when he beat grimjow. Gin is an absolute beast.

Pretty sure he said he is ranking gin on what he thinks how powerful gin was as a lieutenant. We actually don't know. He know how strong he was as a captain. And when he 1st joined the gotei 13 as a child he killed the 3rd seat of the 5th division. But even then we don't know how strong gin was.

The thing about Aizen being number 1 is that if you believe Urahara didn't get any stronger from back then to current time, and Urahara was able to kill and then fight with a way stronger version of Aizen, then LT Aizen saying he could beat Urahara and Tessai is just wrong
I personally think Urahara did get stronger actually, but after the SS arc. Urahara Shikai shield got broken by an initial Shikai Ichigo's Getsuga Tensho and Yoruichi also stated she was rusty. Then Yoruichi hurts herself hitting Yammy and Urahara's Shikai attack gets swatted away by Ulquiorra. Then Urahara and Yoruichi are then strong enough to tussle with Aizen along with Isshin. And then they're both able to individually tussle with Askin. And finally in the Novel, Urahara can fight Aura, who he compared to or said is greater than Aizen, and then Yoruichi's Spiritual Pressure was said to be comparable to Tokinada and Byakuya's, base to base at least, with her having diffeent levels of Shunko amps

You know Kira scales to two people at that point; Shaz Domino and that form of Lillie. These two characters also scale to only one other character; Kira. It's an eternal loop of scaling. Without an actual feat they are unscalable and you can only assume their power but they aren't scalable.
Also Kenpachi's sword is not constantly in it's released shikai state. It's stated by Byakuya that his unreleased sword does not actually exist. You might be able to make the case that it's his sealed sword but it is not his released shikai; otherwise what is Nozarashi???
The video was OK but there were some things that were just really, really wrong.

@@jschoma11 It's his unreleased sword. Byakuya state that they thought it was like Ichigo and constantly in a state of release but they were wrong. Byakuya says something along the lines of "It doesn't even exist" but what he means I don't think is really fully elaborated on.

I feel like it's a bit unfair to include the visords because they weren't considered lieutenants anymore after they got their power up. In the same vein, I feel like it's a bit unfair to include lieutenants who became captains. I dunno, it just feels weird to rank the power of the leutenants when a lot of their positions changed. Because, by that same logic, nearly every captain should also be on this list.
That's fair, especially when you consider the number one spot is literally one of the series BBEGs.
I think they should only be counted if lieutenant was the highest rank they achieved. That and probably put a time threshold for the sake of standardizing the scaling.

Rukia's power up boosted her into being promoted to captain. Not to mention Isane and Iba were both promoted to captain before we could see what they're really capable of.
I don't know about placing Renji that high man. It seems like every time I see him fight using his bankai he gets folded. Even to this day in Kubo's new arc in the manga 1st thing I see is Renji getting beat again.

Nemu is that strong. Like havoc said she proved mayuri wrong by blitzing pernida and one shotting it. Izuru beating renji is debatable but he had a great argument of why Izuru would beat renji
Nemu is actually that strong believe it or not she was able to defeat a pernida who had the strength and power of post muken training kenpachi and the izuru one is proven in some light novel feats and also his shikai ability has an underrated but hax ability. It literally doubles the wait of anything it cuts.
Example:
2 doubled = 4
4 doubled = 8
8 doubled = 16
And there is no set limit for this ability

I absolutely thinks he can. As nodt fear could possibly not work. The novels say that izuru is not really likena shinigami but it's like he is dead. It gets confusing but even if fear could work i still think izuru would win.
Mask has the worst match up here in my opinion. Mask power works similar to shaz power. Izuru could literally just weight madk down and he wouldn't be able to do anything
Both of them would blitz him to hell. Kira gets no diffed by both of them. And Rukia already tried that zombie escape fear move and it only worked on base As Nodt. It started failing once he stopped playing around.

As nodt isn't that good in physical combat and his fear only worked on "frozen" rukia because it works with very deep forms of fear but as we see, if you have no fear it will not work. As originally said his fear is primal but that was debunked by byakuya as all it took was rukia gaining confidence in herself from her brother and the fear effects no longer worked.
Considering kira is quite literally a collection of dead shinigami the fear would most likely not work. And izurus strength in the nivels is insane so nah

Honestly he was close to that level BEFORE the trip to the soul palace. After he was definitely high captain level. Rose and Kensei both are solid mid captain level fighters only held back by having peas for brains (especially Rose)
They got fodderized by Mask and well Renji's fight wasn't a fight. It was an execution. Mask had NOTHING to hit Renji with. And the only reason Renji resorted to his true bankai was similar to Ichigo using Mugetsu on Aizen. You can't regenerate if nothing of you is left.
I might comcede Nemu her feat against Pernada works but Renji would annihilate Kira. He knows about Wabisuke. He won't get hit by it and destroy Kira with his bankai.

Renji is honestly so overrated in terms of power. He's all brute strength. How you ranked Gin so low on this list is such a crime when he is easily be Number 2. He never revealed his true strength until the end, and even then, we never got to see it all. He was toying with Hitsugaya and Ichigo during his fights with them too.

Bleach has a good premise and character design but the power level is meh. And only Ichigo as a cliché powers up like a typical shounen. Like they could've made ikakku's bankai getting stronger the more damage he absorbs. The more shattered it is, the stronger.
Or they could've given each power some clear restrictions since it is connected to the soul, and that makes it stronger or weaker depending on the opponent, not just make the protagonist power up just because of the plot armor.
It's sad that Tite Kubo finished the manga immediately.
