- The main theme for Final Fantasy Type-0 that plays through the intro movie. This song have several remixes that plays during the rest of the game: "Divine Fire", that plays during climaxing battles, "Vermilion Fire", the final boss battle theme, and "Type Zero" which is the second credits roll song.
I am aware that the middle point of the song have very poorly transcribed lyrics, but I couldn't find a better one.

Its so much powerful when you follow the pace of the song and actually understand the lyrics.
This game should definitely be on the top 5 list of FF games of anyone. It's so beautiful.
It surely is! I cherish this game a lot.FF Type 0 has one of the best, epic and fitting Soundtracks I've ever heard. The Story is very very emotional. Great characters and an interesting world/setting
This game is so underrated because of that fact Square Enix did release the remake on ps4 before FF15 with a FF15 demo in it. But this FF is my favorite one in terms of storyline because the story is so interesting, original and really dark for a group of student teenagers.

@@marcfrost1164 it's a shame that they released it for a dying console. I'd say ff type-0 definitely has the best story between the ffs. FFX also has a great story. But Ace is my favorite FF mc. Really wish it was more popular
On Xbox, the achievements work that the amount of players who played the game on Xbox determine how rare an achievement is. Out of the millions of final fantasy players on Xbox, only 9% of Type 0 players got past Chapter 5.
Anyone who gets past Chapter 5 is getting a Rare achievement for completing each following chapter, that's how underappreciated this game is and it's sad to know a story as good as this is being ignored so quickly.

I love hearing the version of this when fighting the dragons in the frozen clouds, and the build up is so intense. I haven't seen the lyrics before, and the translation is really neat.
It always amazes me the amount of thought and detail that goes into the songs in the FF games, if only SE had the same level of consistent quality when it came to the stories, character development and dialogue.

Wow, pretty sweet. SOMEDAY I have got to finish this game. The story seemed interesting, the music was amazing, and I even liked the tactical/strategy game parts/mission. It really is a shame this game doesn't get its due, because the soundtrack is amazing, and it deals with really heavy and gritty elements mroe than most do. I mean, outside of the main party, every time NPCs use a summon - THEY DIE. And, moreover, whenever anyone dies, everyone (more or less) forgets about them. Those are some pretty heavy elements not present in most games, imo.
EDIT: Oh, and that's when you don't consider a lot of the background elements. For example, aging - that magic fades from Rubrim soldiers over time, so those who live long enough eventually are unable to use magic, which is why the nation essentially relies on child soldiers. Something that the white nation (forget its name) soldier NPCs (NON-PLAYER CHARACTERS), for gosh's sake) even mention kind of with disgust that Rubrim basically uses children to fight its wars, the same way that we would when talking about child soldiers in Africa and the Middle-East.
So not only is the game gritty, it kind of hits close to home in a lot of ways dealing with topics like mortality and aging/entropy.
It's one of the heaviest, if not THE heaviest theme a Final Fantasy can get afaik. Shame this one didn't explored further. But perhaps it's fot the best. Let them rest in peace...

Bellatores Rubri also translates to "Red Warriors" but it is also appropriate that the official lyrics call them the Warriors of Rubrum (Suzaku), which are in opposition to the "White Warriors" of the Milites Empire (Byakko).
I'm the only one who think the fabula nova crystalis saga needs a remake, it could work to fix some problems the games had, and to make them more popular

When the world comes into another conflict and we stir into the warzone, this song will repeatedly play while the soldiers charge their way to the enemy base until none can hear it.
It would boost morale to the allied soldiers and would be feared by the enemies on each sides. That is one heck of an epic war they will never forget...

Not only is this just an amazing song on its own, but the song literally sounds like the game if that makes sense. I couldn’t think of a more fitting main theme for the story.
Say what you will about Type 0, but it honestly has some of the best songs in the entire franchise, hands down. I am practically in disbelief that this song was made for a video game lol.

now that my hype has settled down, I could analyze some parts and... well, I know very little about Latin, but I know that the plural for "-um" is usually "-a". So why do they say "bellatores"? this sounds like a "almost Portuguese/Spanish vulgar Latin" imo.
'Bellatores' is the nominative plural of 'Bellator', meaning 'Warrior' or 'Soldier'. Yeah, I've noticed this as well since I speak a tiny bit of Spanish, but according to Wiktionary (en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bellator#Latin) this is the correct Latin phrase. Latin is really complicated so there are probably exceptions or things like that, or maybe this is just a word that didn't exist before Vulgar Latin was a thing.
On another hand, I didn't make the translation or transcription myself, this is the official translation that I just slightly modified to fit better to the song, and the transcription is just me listening to the song over and over while comparing it to the official transcription and other people's transcriptions.
I should really rework this video sometime. It's over a year old by now and I have found numerous issues with it, so thanks for pointing out anomalies if you find any other.

Bellator -is is a masculine noun from the third declension and the nominative, and the accusative and vocative as well, plural is bellatores.
Instead words that ends in -um are usually neutral from the second declension as in bellum -i that has bella as nominative plural.

This one is really hard to transcribe to fitting the English to the vulgar Latin. The chorus was not too bad, but the rest is... Drawn out... Really drawn out... And English don't draw out well... That said, best part: U - nti - l the - da - - -y (QR) Death's (HR QR) kiss (HR) fre - - es you fr - - - - om your fa - - - - - - te can be made might powerful with a stronger male presence in the choir... Kinda curious why Bellatores Rubri is translated into "Warriors of Rubrum" instead of "Warriors of Red" or "Red Warriors", or something in that regard. Rubrum is not even an english word as far as I'm concerned. "Rubri" comes from "Ruber/Rubrum" and means "Red"

John Ryan Pangan you are missing the point. If you translate the lyrics of a song, word by word, but then decides to skip one of the words real meaning, then it doesn't make sense. Look up Rubri in the dictionary yourself. They are even wearing red garments for crying out loud.
The refrain towards the end is why this remains in my top 10 if not top 5 all-time best VGMs ever.
The game itself was honestly mediocre and a massive slog, but my God did they ever create one hell of an impressive OST.

Well, I don't speak Latin at all. I found the lyrics online using various sources, and then I worked together with a friend to pick out what lyrics we found were the most correct, and used that. The translation was found on the Final Fantasy Wiki. In the end, the lyrics weren't as accurate as we thought, though.
