I read The Love Hypothesis and really disliked it and really had no desire to read Ali Hazelwood again... So I skipped Love On the Brain & Love Theoretically... Then she came out with Check & Mate and I had just come off a Queen's Gambit high and was so ready for another chess story and I LOVED it(5 stars)... Then Bride came out and I love me a vampire story and this didn't disappoint(5 stars)... Then Not In Love came out and I was hesitant because she returned to her STEM roots... But I thought this book was so good... People complained about the spice, but it fit the story perfectly... It wasn't just gratuitous sex(5 Stars again)... So then I decided to give the 2 books I skipped a try.... Love On the Brain was HORRIBLE(1 star) and Love Theoretically wasn't much better(2 stars).... I haven't read the novellas

Isn’t it interesting how we might like the author but not necessarily all their books?
