I use the pink Hesacore grip ( thinnest one ) with a UDrippin comfort tour overgrip. Pull off the original grip ,
put the Hesacore directly on the paddle , pull the overgrip firm when putting it on. Keeps the grip about the
same size. Chris Olsen at Pickleball Studio has a great vid on it, make sure to use the warm water trick to
put on the Hesacore : Ed Ju trick 🙂

Good luck with the paddle release. Big Pickle is doing its best to push out the small guy with approval fees that are out of reach for the start ups.
Been playing 8 yrs and just went to HESACORE for grip upgrade. What a differnce. The pads of my finger tips find the divots easy when switching my grip for different shots.

Another thing that would have been worth mentioning is that people can increase the grip size in a way that maintains feel and control, e.g. building up the naked handle thickness with athletic tape.

I've started using a Hesacore (white) grip with a Wilson or Udrippin comfort overgrip.

Great video. Very informative. I will be ordering some weight pods to test out.
I'm curious as to how adding weights in certain areas increases the sweet spot. I'm not questioning if it works, but how it works. I've seen videos by you and others discussing it so I'm sure that it is accurate. I would just like to understand the mechanics behind it.

One thing you didn't cover and I just started using are the weighted Slyce butt caps. It's a love/hate relationship for me. I like the feel the Slyce cap offers but hate you have to pay $30+, take off the stock grip, replace the cap to use it. My tip for you since you market the SweetSpot Pro is do what most tennis racket companies do and use a butt cap with a trap door. It's basically a cap where you can flip open the bottom using something like a small flat head screwdriver and insert weight into it. Gamma has started doing this b/c they're in the tennis racket space. Ronbus finished their prototype trap door butt cap and is starting alpha testing.

The Balance Pods are excellent, I stopped using tape. Thanks for a great product.

Where can I buy that alpha balance machine? I’m always curious about where the balance point is on tennis rackets and pickleball paddles. Great video!

What about gloves? I would guess they increase 'tackiness' and improve vibration absorption, although that would have to be very user specific and subjective.

Conner, I never disagree with any of the tips or lessons you provide we rec players and other players as well.
As a favor to one of your biggest fans, could you give us a few tips on how to adjust our play when playing with lower levels such as those who never come to net, even when they have a very good return, those who insist on standing off the court when you are serving or receiving. I am 81 and have 15 years of pb and 40 plus years of 4.0 and 4.5 tennis.
Due to age related issues 6:12 issues , I
have moving too far back, but have the shots to play strong 3.5 which I have IPTPA rating. Learn ing some tips on how to adjust games when playing open rec play would be great, just in case you have something up your sleeve for that problem
    Thanks

Bought some of your tungsten tape because of this excellent video.
Sadly in Australia it cost me US$31.47.

How can i check the balance point of my paddle without using a fancy machine like yours??

    • @EnhancePickleball
      @EnhancePickleball  หลายเดือนก่อน

You can put it on a rolling pin. Most paddles are right around that same spot though

I would think that the Hesacore grip would not be good for people with small hands.

I agree, it definitely makes the grip significantly larger
