Personally, this one is my favorite. It's on another level. For some reason, the dance just makes me cry. It's so elegant.
Right! Oit of all the groups i keep coming back to this song because i can see the song in their dance. It tells the story so well.

Personally, these girls should of gotten 1st place. Everyone did so well but I feel like this group danced so well with this music.
I believe they got cheated. They got over 90k viewer and the snowflakes team only got 49k. When lady luna first started the compilation she said the team got the most viewer will wins.
They don’t deserve first place. They have too many wavy body movements and are not in sync. I honestly feel that their dance style is too energetic for the Hmong song. The Hmong song is smooth, and their movements are overpowering the message and beat of the music. The video also has a lot of edits and cuts compare to other dance groups. When I watched all the dance videos for the competition. Snowflake deserves the first place.
@@won8603 it’s poor sportsmanship to say a team does not deserve first place or one team deserves it more than the other. Every team works equally hard and did their best. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about dance styles and technique based on their own experience, however, do not put down other people/team because of it. Provide positive feedback and ways for them to improve on technique instead of bashing on teams for their style. Snowflakes executed well just like the 5 other groups did. Congratulations to all the winners and great job to everyone that participated!

I am honest with my review and not fake like others providing positive feed back. I am not putting down anyone’s dance team. Of course they work hard. People need to learn how to take criticism to become better whether it is good or bad. I never said that they were bad dancers. Of course they are talented and performed well. And I’m sure they will get to their first place somewhere else. You gotta understand the beat, music, and the message. My statement is not poor sportsmanship. I don’t believe that every team works hard equally. If someone team members are off beat it is because they haven’t perfect their skill. If you take a look at Chinese Operas and performances like Shen Yun, they are always in sync and perform with all their quality work. It’s all about bringing the best performance passionate, and perfection. If dancers are not in sync of course they won’t make it to first. So you rather give first place to a dance team that is off beat? We all learn lessons, take the criticism to become better. Think of it as if people were to play in a Band or Orchestra they gotta be on beat and in tune.
@@won8603 good for you for retiring. I’m not there yet but I have my years of experience and understand music. How each team portrays is different. And how how each viewer interprets it…is different. Everyone’s perspective is different and we all have our own opinions about style. So no need to be fake but also no need to say one team deserves first over the other. It is a competition, so help teams improve by giving feedback/“criticism” and leave it at that. God bless.

I know nothing about these hmong dance competition but this routine is mesmerizing
Such an intimate/affectionate song deserves a dance where all moves are done equally with hand,leg and body movement. This team did such an amazing job conveying the lyrics into their moves and the complexity! Typically performances are focused on making big, bold hand/arm movements and they tend to forget how beautiful body movements can be.
This is by far my most favorite Hmong traditional dance group thus far. The choreographer is extremely talented with a vision sharper than an eagle's eye. Then these young ladies who can bring that vision to life. This collaboration between the choreographer and the dancers is pure FIRE 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
....and those smiles that shined brighter than every star flung into orbit also made the dance that much more amazing to watch.
These aren't traditional Hmong dance though. It's more like Chinese.

This piece is beautiful. They hit the beats that I did not expect to be hit and that is what makes it so engaging til the end. They change up the speed and play with their levels despite having a smaller group.
It would nice it if the judges were dancers so they can observe and judge the musicality and textures of these choreographies. This one is definitely gold.

Outfits are on point and beautiful! A little bit hmong and a bit Chinese blended. Videography is the best too. Dancers are more in sync than the other groups. Beautiful smiles all around! Choreography is very elegant and graceful!

Ooh, this one is so clean. I love how the dancers were mostly in sync. The choreography is brilliant. Their waist movements helped dramatize the emotion in this song, it just all flow so nicely. & Lastly, their outfit 🔥🔥🔥
It has been cut and edited and not live. This is why you don't see the flaws. They should have just kept it live and they might have won 1st.

All the groups did so well but this was definitely my favorite. They move so smoothly and with ease from their hips to their head. It looks so effortless and natural. I also love that the group is a lot smaller than what you usually see these days. It's less "busy". They were well synchrononized. The outfit is cute and they all look like they're enjoying themselves.

Beautiful choreography and outfit!!! You all performed gracefully and in sync! Each dancer kept beautiful facial expressions and hit all their movements on count. Love how you all emphasized and controlled your hip and arm movements while finishing all your movements fully. Also great job on the uniformity of your movements and hand placement. Your lines were straight, and you all stayed within your formation. Your precision and count on beat made for a clean and great performance. Loved it and definitely my favorite performance of all! You all have a great dance coach! Awesome job young ladies!!!
