@@AudioSorcerer Well, I've just compared both and aside from Waves Stream refusing to connect on 3 different phones, it does work on a PC/Mac browser, has just as good audio quality as Listento, seems to have a more direct (less playback latency) connection and the inclusion of bar and beat indicator is a cool touch.
you can have the individual plugin by now, but I believe the subscription is "needed" bc the stream needs to be routed somehow by someone over the internet. it's not that your PC and your phone or car stereo or co-musician's DAW talk to each other directly like with Bluetooth - they can be continents apart. the only tools I found that do this are from NDI (apps and VST plugins) which also incl video streams - they're free but tricky to setup correctly to work over regular internet connections, ie. you need to configure routers and firewalls on both ends which might be a showstopper and they're not available (yet) for mobiles.
If the other person wants to listen in their DAW then they would need to get the plugins. Otherwise, anyone can listen to the link in their web browser or phone.
2 BIG negatives on this plugin, 1- you can only stream to 1 person at a time, i need to stream this to 2 or 3 people at same time, as my client has multiple employees who'd like to listen and collaborate 2- the mic is only 1 way, only sender can talk to receiver, the receiver has to be on telephone, or another app to talk to sender, (Assuming receiver does not have a DAW) add these 2 much needed features, and i'm sold, till then, i can't get onboard
Good video. Do you know how the audio quality and "reliability" of connection compares to Listento by Audiometers?
Thanks! I'm actually not sure. I use Sessionwire so I can only compare it to that.

Nice video dude!
Glad you liked it!🤘
Shame you can not just buy it as an individual plugin and its stuck behind a pay monthly pay wall
Yup, and I have a feeling most upcoming wave plugins will have to be accessed the same way ,

Do both people need a subscription in order to use this or only the person sending the link?

why can't we send the stream to the receive app and be able to download It!?
What do you mean by download?

There is always Sessionwire for more complex tasks.
