I don't know how you plan on populating your dungeon but you should take a poll from the rest of the server and see if they wouldn't mind you using admin powers and spawning in mobs in the dungeon so there's more than just thralls and traps; I'm pretty sure that nobody will mind. If you could do that then you could spawn in some of the rarer, less common monsters to make things interesting; it would be fun to see those exploding imps that are supposed to be in the game somewhere.
Krojak suggested a set couple of hours instead of a time frame as long as a weekend so it's more specific and people aren't sitting around for hours waiting for people
You should encourage it by making areas with resources limited to the ones who "control" that area, giving people an incentive to go to war. Be it walls or whatever.
Actually John, Spexx fought Jester and Ikey fought the other Warborners(And Ikey did well, points for him) so there was some PvP going, to bad you guys werent part of it. But maybe next weekend, people seem eager enough. I have build lag too(it was awful, as if it was 5fps), seems to depend on the area you build in, and appearantly the result of the mountain-exploit fix. I had a topic on it on Steam, asking them about it, hopefully they will try to fix the lag issue. Anyways, nice builderizations!
Everybody is going to want to try out your new dungeon when it's completed. Unless you only let one group explore it a week, you'll have to spawn in new thralls and creatures. No one can expect you to tame new thralls, and kite in new monsters, after every visit.

for a possible trap, can you place a bomb on a ceiling, and when the ceiling falls, it ends up dropping the bomb that blows up?

Don't take this personally but, I fall asleep to about 80% of your "build" videos. I normally watch them after I get off work so I am kind of tired.
