A lot of ppl don't ever want to talk about the member that left the group. And I can understand that. Neither Stray Kids nor the company has ever explained what happened - just that he left for "personal reasons." But it must have been something significant. The thing is, it's a fact of life that he was part of the group and that his participation was important to their formation and their debut. He's a part of SKZ history, even if ppl don't want to acknowledge that. He deserves at least that much recognition. But I'm a diehard believer that "8 is Fate," so while accepting his part in the history of SKZ, I focus on Stray Kids' accomplishments since that difficult time. Each of them has ambition, a huge skill set and a willingness to work hard for what they want. They have WELL earned all of their accomplishments and accolades over the years, and they continue to create and perform amazing music. Most importantly, the members of Stray Kids are happy as a family, a brotherhood and a collective partnership of individual creative talents. For them, the sky's the limit.

Woojin himself in an interview last year stated he has not spoken to any of the members and apologized for how he mishandled leaving the group. He has done a lot of public apology interviews, but it means nothing, if you haven't apologized to the ones you hurt. Stray Kids have moved on...9 was the dream but 8 is fate!
Actually, I have since learnt that he has apologised multiple times. It seems that he took a break for mental health reasons. Despite rumours JYP did not black list him, they did not remove him, he wanted to leave. I found an interesting documentary on the subject of you are interested.
