Also, if the Chara as narrator theory is correct, then it makes sense that they would underestimate Sans, as with all of the LV you give them, they lose the feeling of compassion, so they can call Paps "forgettable" and MK "free Exp".
He has 1 HP in undertale ( Even in Game codes ) so it makes sense That he would try to Dodge everything along with the damage we deal This sans clearly has some determination and trains because well You just don't become the capitan of the royal guard by doing nothing

His attacks are slower, calmer, smarter than UT sans, and so that’s what you have to be; slower, calmer, smarter.

So, as I am now better informed, there are overlapping roles. NOTE: THIS IS WHAT I FOUND WHEN RESEARCHING. There are 2 sides basically. After Undyne got out and went on a killing spree, she was taken out and the barrier was heavily reinforced. No loopholes. But Undyne's actions were very controversial, causing Monsters to essentially separate into a group that believed in protecting the humans that would fall, and those that believed in killing them for their souls. I know for sure that Undyne is Flowey, and tries to kill you immediately. No facade like Flowey. Chara is Toriel, and can control metal. Asriel is Asgore, Papyrus is the Scientist on the Pacifists side, Sans acts as Undyne, and on the other side, too.
If Sans wasn't,lazy ,trained to his full potential and wasn't holding back at all ,he would be possibly particularly almost unstoppable and maybe even will have a chance at stopping the human's genocide
Undershuffle doesn’t exactly switch each character around that as they do in underswap, they assign them different roles such as sans as undyne, then papyrus as Alphys
