The hand held camera work makes this episode even more unsettling. So good, well done everyone at telling such an important story.
The sad thing is that lots of toxic couples like this have kids. Then, their damaged kids grow into adults who get into toxic relationships.... And so the cycle continues....😢

Omg belle 😢😢 this episode was gut wrenching to see and watch but yes there's a but. It raises awareness for ppl who currently and have gone through this manipulative, cohersive, narcissistic and abusive behaviour 😢😢😢. The actor that plays Tom is doing it so well.. coz us viewers me for sure bloody hate tom can't stand him. 😡😠.. and eden is portraying belle with this storyline so well. Oh belle we see you. We love you. ❤💔. Your not alone. 😢

So they brought Tom back just to make him an abusive monster. What a shame. All that whining he made about Carl when he came back to the village and he does this. He makes his dad look like a saint- and he killed his own father!

Tom has played a great part. I love watch real true to life sensitive storylines and when soaps cover real life topics to bring awareness rather than far fetched nonsensical stories. Great acting from James ❤
If Zack and Lisa were still alive and still around they would be absolutely disgusted at how Tom is treating belle they loved their daughter so much I feel so bad for belle this show never gave her happy storylines😢😢
I think Zak is still alive its just his actor who sadly passed but I'm not 100% sure
He died in real life in December 2023 aged 77

They’re doing a really good job at showing what abuse is like. And, yes, Belle needs to fight back and stop acting like the victim here. She just needs to go tell someone, and get him sent down.

The next steps she should be taking are out that door never to step foot inside it again only to collect her stuff. But we know that next week he wants control of her money by merging bank accounts

I know a lot of people want Cain to deal with Tom but I really hope this story focuses on Belle. We don't need Cain to swoop in with his fists.
He shouldn't overstepped, but he HAS to deal with Tom, he needs to understand the wrong he did, he is gonna send Belle so far back with her mental health so he needs to suffer. And what he did to Vinny...

I hope this story runs for a while..between belle and tom. It shouldnt be rushed but drawn out like in real life. Emmerdale is so good..best soap on television
I’m so sick of this storyline already. We saw this in coronation street with Yasmin and also in Eastenders. Belle is a Dingle, and no Dingle would put up with this. Anybody else in the village but not someone from the Dingle clan. She knows how dangerous her family can be and still she puts up with this bully, really! They need to wrap up this storyline now.
Domestic violence doesn’t just get “wrapped up”
The last thing I want is another Gray Atkins (Eastenders). Someone needs to see what he’s really like before he kills somebody.

Hopefully this shows how bad he can get in Belle Eyes that he means willful harm and yet calls her a great wife.

Tell your family what he’s been doing, get audio recording as evidence, move out, get divorced. Problem solved
well clearly you don't know the law then because you can't just record someone on audio unless you know the law as you have to hit a certain criteria to get it admissible in court and stop making out it is easy when it ain't so unless you are in that person situation you can't talk

Even though Lachlan was a sociopathic killer at least he didn’t abuse Belle unlike Tom.
Tom's character has turned disgusting, and I find myself ff'd through his scenes with Belle. I can't wait for Tom getting found out, and his comeuppance. It is such an abusive relationship. I hope she doesn't snap.
Poor Belle. This storyline has been brilliant and it shows how domestic abusers like Tom chip away their victims confidence and when they manipulate and physically lash out. Its horrible and I hope it gets more women and men in these situations to open up and speak out. 👍

Easier said than done I tried to leave my violent relationship and the guy attacked me luckily for me I had a very supportive neighbour who noticed something was wrong and called the police that was my escape but I could not do it alone, unless you have been a victim of domestic abuse etc you cannot tell us it is our own fault when it isn't comments like yours actually disgust me do your research beforehand coz most of the time victims like myself do not know we are being abused until its too late coz nobody is ever prepared for situations like this unless u have been through it already
