My theory of the lore: I believe that Sonny is the creator of KinitoPET. Sometime during his creation Kinito trapped Sonny within his programming and used him to get smarter and become sentient. When and how he did this I don't know. Probably how he trapped us. Anyway while we play with Kinito, Sonny manages to break free and reveal to us the files needed to delete Kinito. Because of the presence of the fountain in the perfect world, I think the "bad" endings of the game did play out, but Sonny managed to break us free of Kinito before he trapped us. I believe Sonny wrote the message at 23:34 as a silent goodbye, but encrypted it so we wouldn't try to save him before deleting Kinito. Sonny knows it's far too late for him, and just wants us to delete Kinito along with him so the nightmare will be over.
That's just my theory though, and honestly i kinda hope it's right as it feels like a really depressing variant of evil A.I. There's a human within A.I, but rather than the human being evil, the A.I is evil, and using the human for it's own gain.

I think that the KinitoPET is like... a failed AI that wanted to be geniune friends with the person, but ended up using some "questionable" ways to do it.... yet he didn't know that he was making the user uncomfortable and making it think it was a virus, yet the person deleted it, and then he truly realised what has he done, so saying "do you forgive me?" makes more sense. That's probably why is the ending called "true ending" and honestly... it's kinda sad
Now I see the orange guy said that it was all your fault when he turned black for a second and that picture of the stick figure was represented by you and it said it was all my fault so the game might be trying to tell you that it is your fault for maybe doing something it might include that you gave him so much personal information.
