Hi I’m Daren Lim, welcome to my channel Darenlimgolf.
This TH-cam channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I am on a mission to course vlog all the courses that I play at, starting with the courses in Singapore and more in Asia when travel to play is allowed. My aim is to showcase all the types of courses we have. hopefully you will be able to play better golf by me sharing tips on how to make better decisions and strategize based on the way that you play your golf.
although the videos may not be about how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I hope that my videos will help you lower your score by learning through what you watch.

Love and agreed on the 4 points of mistakes, I think over the years I'm now more strategic, medium in mind but bad in execution especially now I feel I am saturated at high 80s...love to see if you have a video on improvement to low 80s. I never much believe in luck but if you do the first 3 to near-perfection, you minimized the need for luck :)

Thank you for watching and sharing :) Course and emotional management has always been what golf is about (well at least for me). I think in order for a golfer to lower their scores, firstly they need to identify the areas/skill that needs improvement (varies from golfer to golfer) and then from there once they work on it, their scores will drop. I suggest to work 1-2 key areas for the year depending on time/resource available.

i feel like at 11:20 that low hooking 3 iron was perhaps too much risk for a reward of 65m left. I feel maybe a less risky shot left (albeit a baby fade) leaving anything up to 90-100m would have been fine with your wedge play? i know you prefer a draw but there appeared so much room left to play a fade. could be the camera angle though..

i hear where you are coming from and definitely did consider that option, however I cannot hit a fade to save my life with a long iron and anything left of the bunker will be in the rough. Hitting a draw and hook is a higher percentage shot vs a straight/slight fade shot.

How to overcome 1st tee jitters as for you. Even if you have your strategy preplan. but then when the mental weak / pressure arise, preplan strategy tends to not get underway.
