Yes, Dionne Warwick did perform this "Slowly" version of the "Solid Gold" theme song on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" on a 1981 episode, but the debut of this specialized version of the "Solid Gold" theme song is right here on this video which is from "Solid Gold" on an April 1981 episode.
