How does Power node compare to the updated node x in chip design and sound quality. I do know the power node is an amplifier but I’m more interested in sound comparison
The HD 800 S has a pretty good impedance swing, so you need to clamp down on the drivers with a good bit of voltage. Was not intended to be wireless from the device to the speaker: a streamer is wireless from the router and wired to the amp, dac or active monitor. Otherwise the quality will be downgrade by multiple resamplings or even worse: bluetooth 😱

What tube amp, solid state would you recommend for Sennheiser 800s headphones to go with the Blusound X?

NodeX is not wireless, does not work with Sonos, does not work wireless to KEF LS50 ii, does not work.
My Dyson vacuum does not work with my Phillips toaster!
