Just subscribed. I'm impressed with your dialog, facts and opinions. I've "almost" decided to order a SV406P 80mm. I hike into birding spots (from a mile to three miles) and will appreciate its lighter weight. I'm really a new birder. My life list isn't large. Heck, 64 yo and I just saw my very first Eastern Bluebird last May. I've turned into a tireless Bluebird Trail creator. Last season, out of seven pairs nesting in my nest boxes, a total of 49 eggs were laid and 46 fledged. Two of the seven had two broods. I had 21 nest boxes on my trail. This year I've gone a little nuts building 26 more boxes.
Thanks and welcome to the channel. Great story on the Bluebirds. That's a nice scope, I have tested the 65mm version of the SV406P and it is great and smaller th-cam.com/video/fprS55EskU8/w-d-xo.html and uses wifi camera as well.
The SVBony SV406 25-75x100 HD Dual Focusing Spotting Scope is an exact scope for birding. Thanks for sharing the review. Big LIKE from me. Happy birding, and have a nice day.
@@commonsense5709 It is now on sale for $135 at amzn.to/3p8RWCC let me tell you nothing south of a few thousand dollars is "crystal clear" at 75 power magnification. And really the clarity is a bigger function of how stable it is on a tripod and how you attach the phone adapter and phone as I mention in the review if you read it. Do you have a concept of what 75x looks like - you have to get about 50-60 feet away before a bigger songbird like a jay or crow will even "fit" in the scope. The slightest breeze will shake your big scope if your not careful. If you have money buy an expensive scope - and more importantly a heavy tripod - that's a no brainer - I discuss that in detail in the review.
Thank you for this review. I'm willing to buy a 100mm spotting scope and i came across the SV406 and the Visionking 30-90x100HD. Have you had any contact with that scope?
Don't have any experience with the Visionking it sounds pretty radical. Depends on what you are using it for. With a minimum power of 30x you won't be able to use it close for birds - or if you use a phone to film birds some will be too big to video etc so find out the minimum focus distance and size. BB
I have a Svbony SA401 20-60×85 but I was thinking about switching to the SA401 25-75x100, I just don't know if the difference between them is that big. Have you had any experience with them?

Not sure, check the SVbony website and customer support to be sure. BB
Hi. Between this svbony and celestron regal m2 25-76 x100 ed, which one do you think it’s better? Thanks
The Celestron is better and much higher in price so it's a trade-off the svbony is satisfactory for a lot of uses.
@@MyBackyardBirdingthanks for your reply! 🙏

You can see things 'grining' a mile away.
