I think they replaced the old blue screen and interactive console in Mid 2012 for the new ticket blaster with background and sign and removal of interactive console.
There have actually been 3 different locations in Louisville over the years. One opened in ‘85 and closed in 97. Another opened around 87 and closed in 1990. The one in this vid opened in 2000 with the alpha.
Thanks for the info! I think the one that closed in 97 still had a C-Stage? I remember hearing that... Kentucky has a lot of CEC history! Ever hear about Florence's story?
No problem! Actually, just found out the one they I said opened in 85 actually opened around 81/82. And yes I think they had the c stage until they closed as far as I know because there have never been any photos or footage of a 1 or 2 stage there. And yes I’ve heard the wonderful story of Florence! It is pretty neat.
Wow! Cool. Yeah Florence's story is amazing... I'm not great at predictions, but I did always have a feeling long ago that there were stores like that, that made it into the 2000's. CEC has just always been too disorganized for all of those magical stores to have been gone by 1997! Florence, Lake Forest, and Simi Valley prove that. :) I hope we'll soon find more gems from the past on Instagram and TH-cam...
Yep. It’s a shame more aren’t around. There were ptt locations in Nashville and Memphis, which I can’t find the addresses of. If I could that would be truely amazing but it might be lost to time. They haven’t been open for decades.
Hi chuckecheeseshows, that is understanding because you sometimes never know when a segment is about to start, but I do know that they normally had a CEC TV logo pop up before each show from the Time video screens were starting to be used at chuck e cheese, up until around 2014.
What a disappointment. Miss the days of the Preston Hwy location back in the 80's-90's when they had REAL animatronic shows and not just one puppet talking to TV screen. Awww, the good old days...
chuckecheeseshows Usually I feel like I miss the old days, too. 😃 You know, the times before the Rockstar era. 😉 But the Rockstar era is still good in its own way, but there's something about the old CEC days that were better that I can't think of right now. Back when I was little I never really paid attention to the show and would be playing the games, but I have seen videos from the past thanks to SP.com and here. 😃
I recently went to this store on the way back from a trip to WI. I don't think the curtains were working on the show. They didn't work when you visited, did they?
Louisville, KY, Warwick, RI, Long Island City, NY had the same 2012 setup.

I wish alpha’s opened with this.
- 16 Movement Bot
- No Bluescreen And Interactive Console
- Curtains Disabled
Did You Ever Film A Store Tour Of Louisville Im Making A Roblox Recreation Of It
I love one direction, and the song, but cec makes the song more catchy and alot of romance!!!!!!
Agreed!

I agree, older CEC was better. There's pictures of the Preston Hwy. location on showbizpizzadotcom's photo gallery.

@@DevouiDevoui yeah but both were good till 2018 when they ruined it and changed it.
Can I use this video for a video I'm working on going over the history of Chuck E. Cheese's in Louisville? I'll give you credit
Yes, thanks
