I think it’s that thing where he doesn’t necessarily blame him for being evil because that’s simply his nature. I’d understand for any other character but Sukuna since he was human first. This guy honestly probably just really enjoys evil so all that “nature” crap only works with mahito and other Jjk sorcerers imo

It's illustrating that there's no such thing as evil or good nature, that how we turn out is entirely based on circumstance, Yuji giving Sukuna a chance is showing his commitment to that, that even Sukuna's life is valuable enough to give a second chance for Yuji's declaration of all human life being valuable includes Sukuna no matter how much Yuji may personally loathe him.

@@kingades1013 Yeah, if you wanna observe Yuji's thought process better I'd reccomend rereading chapter 265. Also something I forgot to mention is that a big part of this is also that Yuji is the only one who can do this for Sukuna, relating back to his "something only I can do" motivation from the start of the series.

Funny thing, this is how the fight should have been depicted, but gege got blasted by half of the community for "fights to long", so gege got mad in a SBS is it called? The author thoughts where she draws herself as a one eyed cat thingy, then liked the Kashimo animation(one of the only if not the only one animation liked by gege)
