NARUTO first began its serialization in 1999.
We held a worldwide popularity vote in celebration of its 20th anniversary, calling all fans from across the globe to decide the #1 NARUTO character.
Each person could vote once per day.
Voting took place from Dec. 17th, 2022 to Jan. 31st, 2023 (JST), and in total we received approximately 4,600,000 votes.
And now, the final results are in!

Lee kicking of Top 20 was epic and the cold indifferent face of Sasuke in his early Shippuden look was soo cool!!! ❄️ Would have been satisfied if he was No.7
I am so happy Sasori is in top 20
It was very interesting to see which weapons each character had in the new Top 22 Kishimoto illustration after noticing all of them had one except maybe Deidara who has some mask string around XD Aside from Minato's Rasengan, Sasuke's indra's arrow the only weapon to emanate some energy in the picture at top, his sword would be missed, though Itachi also looked cool with one!
Sakura being the favorite of her team is such a great Irony.
So glad she came out on top!
Naruto is suchg a goat series! i know it has problems but overall a great shonen manga~ very creative and imaginative work

@@random_internet_user_ Man i am so damn excited about this manga i cant express in words...Back in 2019 i used to wish if we could get a 12 episode mini series of the legendary tales of minato, i used to be so depressed knowing that would never happen. then years later the universe brought Narutop99 and i had no idea there were so many fans just like me who wanted a minato story. All the fans assembled and made my dream come true. Literally it feels like the universe made my wish come true. Minato to me is a once in a lifetime kind of a character. He has a aura about him even though he is just pencil strokes. Even i was expecting anywhere between 50 to 60 pages. if its 120 then Amazing.

This poll is simply about character popularity, we could have found out plot holes in naruto if characters like Sakumo or even Madara won, we alresdy got 2 itachi light novels and a akatsuki light novel, why is he even top 2? Theirs legit nothing to learn about itachi we already know alot about him, same for shisui, but shisui didnt even live that long or did anything exicting except giving his koto to itachi, with minato we could see how he grew up, inventing the rasengan and about the third ninja war.
Minato deserved it, Itachi is 2nd so it's cool. Minato and Itachi are the 2 coolest characters of the entire serie (Naruto, Naruto Shippûden and Boruto included)
