Mont Blanc signature is definitely one of my favorites🥰🥰🥰 the only one I can think of that’s similar is the Bare Magnolia. But maybe someone in the comments knows of another good one 🤓🤓🤓

I love you for doing this video. I’m so clueless when it comes to notes. When people talk about them, I just scratch my head, like how do they know what these notes smell like in isolation-like amber, tonka beans, ylang ylang, etc. thanks for giving me insight on the topic.
Thank you so much friend!🥰🥰🥰🥰 I was totally clueless to all of that as well not too long ago. What helped me out is buying a lot of different essential oils that have a singular note. I would smell them and train my nose to start picking up that particular singular note in a perfume. Also, I would use things I have around the house like a piece of fruit for example. I would smell it and then go to my perfumes and try to pick up that particular scent in a fragrance. I still have a lot of training and practicing to go, but I’m getting there🤓🤓🤓 it’s a work in progress😋😋😋
I adore musk! I prefer the lighter ones as well. Narcisso Rodriguez is one of my favourite fragrance houses. I love Missing Person. I’m one of those that it lasts on and smells like your skin but better. I want to try Soft Spot. 😊
I had no idea there were different musks. I usually try to stay away from musk because there are some that are headache inducing. The only musk fragrance I like is Miller Harris L’aire de Rien. My husband LOVES this one! It’s comforting but doesn’t last too long on me but nothing does lol. I only wear it on rainy days and in cooler weather.
Was wearing Rouat al Musk today, it’s one of my faves! I feel like the muskiness is amplified by the sandalwood mixed with the sweet fruit notes. I have Narcisco Rodriguez Fleur Musc which is such a pretty realistic rose with a musk base. Thanks for all the education in your videos, there’s no other channel that goes as in depth as you!

It does make sense because sometimes I describe certain musks as having a specific aerosol (air-freshener spray) quality. So now I know the name for it and that I don't really like Galoxolide. I think JHAG Ode to Dullness and some others that come to mind may have it.
The only musk I don’t touch is sweaty animalic 😂 although there is a natural musky scent that attracts the opposite sex! My goodness I took this in another direction quickly 🤣😂 Musk is certainly an interesting note that fragrance enthusiasts can talk about forever! 😉

I like lighter musk. When i was in hs, my mom was into the body shop musk oil. She always buy the oil but i wasn’t into it. But i always ask her to buy me the lotion and body mist. My classmates would always tell me that my skin smells so good. They like touching my arms and the lotion will get to them and would sniff their hands 😂i feel so beautiful remembering those moments 😂.

Because I always thought musk was dirty smelling😋 And then I found out that there are all different types of musk. Clean, creamy, animalic, skin like. I didn't touch anything with musk for years until I found a white musk that was pretty and smelled great! I have a 10 ml of a white musk that I love layering with some of my fragrances to give them a more sensual vibe.

Hi Jamie! I was burned by White Musk by The Body Shop in my teens! 😂😂 I wore it so much I couldn’t bare a musk scent after that! A few years back, I discovered Narcisso Rodriguez and I’m slowly getting back to wearing musk. Glossier You I enjoy too and Bare Magnolia.
The actual musk is extremely offensive and animalic. Thank God in perfumes we get the much refined type. My favs: Narciso Narciso Musk 12 Kayali Signature Mont Blanc Chance EDP

Although I am not a fan of Narciso Rodriguez For Her… I do truly love the Pure Musc, Musc Noir, and Musc Noir Rose. All highly recommend.
